Group think is strong in every group, we are not unique in this. Nothing worse than having a 700-2500k rifle and no ammo or a collection of firearms and no ammo. Now THAT is insane! you want ammo, pay you didn't stock up, pay 2
Grapeshot 301 Posted February 4, 2021 So. look on the bright side. With the new mag restrictions, each full mag only costs $12.60. Without Murphy helping us, it would be $18.90.
raz-0 1,256 Posted February 4, 2021 I've found .50 bmg in stock for $3 a round many places. Mostly only selling in 150+ quantity. Just sayin... I mean if you have been putting off buying that .50 BMG.

1LtCAP 4,259 Posted February 5, 2021 i heard from a friend.....i trust the guy.......he'd heard that most companies are about to cease production of .22lr in order to increase capacity of other calibers. anyone else hear this?

I haven't heard, but they are made on separate non-convertible production lines, with no commonality of components, so I wouldn't expect 22 production to cease. Unless there are bottlenecks in supply of brass or lead ingots, or they don't physically have enough employees anymore to run all of the lines.

Would not surprise me to see a stoppage or near stoppage

I planned on selling a case when prices peaked.. that apparently still has not happened. Lol!!!
RUTGERS95 889 Posted February 5, 2021 the reality is the 22lr is the most accepted and practical round for shooting in both good and bad times. The whole family can shoot it, learn on it, one can train with m4s on it etc etc etc at .20/rd, it's still a bargain compared to not shooting. Price shock, once that subsides and people realize this is for the next 2yrs, people will pay .30/rd

Golf battery 1,223 Posted February 8, 2021 So im sure 46’s puppets already thought of this. Licensing for components to make ammo. Enjoy it while you can. The constitution and bill of rights mean nothing to them. Its all going to come to a head.

Priming the cases, on the other hand... I've said this before. When Clinton took office there was talk of making primers explosive devices. You couldn't find primers for about 2 years.
