So I've been wanting to purchase a full size 9mm handgun no plastic I already have 2 compactish handguns in the fnp and fns Now I've narrowed it down to the M9A1 & SP01. I like that their modernized/updated versions of their tried and tested OG older brothers. I haven't shot either and I've only fired the 92FS. M9A1 attracts me because it's what our military uses. Also it already comes ready to go with 15 round mags. SP01 is nice because I believe the sights are replaceable and can already come with night sights. Downside being it's either 10 round or 18 round and get it fixed. What would you do? Only thing that sucks right now is no one seems to have these in stock right now, what gives?

I am a first-time gun owner - purchased a Ruger SR9 last week. I have some questions about ammunition and am looking for sound advice and seasoned gun owner's experiences. I've shot Magtech, Blazer and Federal 9mm Luger ammo with the gun and I have had the best experience with the Blazer and Federal. So, my questions are: Is the 115 grain less desirable than the 124? Is it safe to buy the ammo online and have it shipped? (I've seen good deals on Cabela's and natchezss.com). If I buy in bulk (which for me right now is more than 2 boxes at a time) what is the best way to store it? Are there any good gun stores in Northern NJ that sell ammo at good prices? (I've bought a few boxes at Ramsey's up in Ledgewood for $14/box). Does it matter if I buy brass or aluminum? Does really cheap ammo do any damage to the gun? And, is it potentially dangerous? Is there a manufacturer I should never, ever buy? Thanks for any help and feel free to thrown in other ammo tips I didn't ask about!!!

I have about 350 brass pieces that I have been cyling through my press. Out of those 350 there are some 20 or so that just will not accept the Lee case trimmer. This is the trimmer/sizer that is to cut to the exact 9m Luger size and has a metal post at the blade end that, as far as I know, should be at the diameter expected for the 9mm luger case mouth. I trim after popping the spent primer, which is built into the Lee case sizing die. Most have no issue but I just can't figure out how a spent pistol case can be too small a the opening. Any ideas why or what I can do to fix that? I have tried running them through the sizer twice and got nothing.

Any opinions on this ammo. I saw an ad for 1000 rounds of 115 grain @ $220.
