    I love FL to visit but a warm winter with no snow, Christmas lights on green trees, no fall foliage, no mountians to hike, have to mow the lawn 52 weeks a year and so on. I almost moved to west Palm beach years ago and I'm happy I did not. I would not like to live there year round.

    For someone who's name is fishnur I don't get me that. Fishing my number 1 hobby and i do it yr round in shorts with a huge variety of fish

    Plus higher costs for basics/food/gas/utilities. Fire ants so you cant enjoy a walk on your own grass. Roaches in every building from Mansions to the small shacks. A very crappy healthcare system, a crappy school system. I was there for 11 years, yes there are things I miss, but the con's outweigh the pro's (2nd amendment aside)

    Not for me. I don't want even to go back to NJ to visit and my family lives there as well as many close friends. Pros Def out weight cons for me

    So if I walk into a place that supplies CCW's in FL with my NJ hunting license they'll help me do everything I need to apply for FL CCW?

    Especially a sherif station. That's where I went. Still have to mail package in tho, but they provided the forms etc.

    Very different guns you have listed. G26 IS not comparable to an xds in any way. I often carry an xds 45 because it's si damn hot here, but try and cry my xdm compacts or G19 when i can due to capacity.

    Expecting a néw xds 45 bitone 4.0 tomorrow as a matter of fact :)

    I have 2 xdm compacts and 1 I carry as often as cloths allow me in South Florida and I'd take them any day over the 2 glocks I own. Springer and PRP make trigger kits if you're soo inclined.

    Why am I hung up on .45 for home defense?

    Probably same reason a G21 with CT light guard is in my nightstand

    I have a 226 9mm i put the E2 grips on when they 1st come out. It's basically a safe queen now as I have a G21 bedside, xdm compact 9 with laser in car and rotate my xdm 40 compact, G19 gen 4, XDs 45 (i carry most due it being so damn hot here), a CM9 and my favorite XDm 40 compact. That being said, i have no intention of getting rid of it. It's a tack driver and the ladies love shooting it due to low recoil.

    I almost wish it was a 229 so I could put it in the carry rotation.

    It is probably my softest shooter due to weight and caliber. It is also my only hammer fired gun which makes no difference in how I shoot.

    Complete nonsense.I'll take PA for example:LOL, how about 10 times better than 10 of your top 15 that have almost everywhere off limits for carry and people can put up no carry signs and make you a criminal. Florida is #5? They should be #25. You can't carry anywhere there. Texas beats PA? There is no single measure in which either state beats PA. Absolutely ridiculous.Do you know how you get broad reciprocity? By making your citizens jump through a dozen hoops, spend lots of money, and walk on eggshells to get and keep their right to keep and bear arms. Reciprocity should count against a state because it is a symptom of a problem.
