    Haha, totally led me on! JK. Yea, I really wanted an H-1, but didn't feel like forking out the extra 200-300$ at the time so I went with the 517. Pointless now since I've been using my DMS-1, haha.

     

    So, no tacticool VFG, Jsko? :D . I have to admit I added a stubby on mine, though its more for hand reference, and not so much for use. Might have to consider the AFG once it becomes widely available.

    I bought it after the election, nothing was around and everyone was on 4 month back orders. I got it for 1000 shipped from someone in CT who had a shop and use to work for Stag Arms. So he always had rifles coming in. I don't have my bills around atm but I'd estimate over 1800 including the eotech and other parts.

     

    I tell ya its an addiction.

    Nice looking AR. How do you like the Magpul trigger guard? I don't mind the stock ones, but I've been thinking about trying out the aftermarket products.

    I need to get updated pictures of my AR up here too 8-)

    I am in Hackettstown, turnaround is pretty quick. Getting Handgun permits use to be a lot faster but the State is making them do State background checks which cost 17 bucks now, the detective told me he was originally doing free federal background checks. FID card took about a month. I just got some pistol permits 2 weeks back, they took about 3 weeks. When I got mine they did fingerprinting there, but they changed that as of July-09.

    Im in Hackettstown, looking for somewhere local, Ive been going to family property in NY. I haven't really been to any ranges in NJ, was looking to shoot on Private property in Blairstown, but I wasn't sure of the local laws.

    Hey everyone, kinda new around here. Been reading up on the forums but haven't really posted much. Just made some recent purchases after getting my FID last Nov. Not new to shooting though. Anywas just got my first Handgun permits, haven't made a decision one what to get. This year I treated myself to some goodies, and picked up a Stag Model 2, Arsenal SGL20 which Henderson Defense made post ban config, and also a Springfield 1903. Anyways looks like Ill be posting a bit more around here now.
