It's not the 8 hours out that kills you. It's the 8 hours back home after spending 4 hours in the store which starts to get to you. But then again some people can drive hours upon hours with no problems, I for one am not. I will also say the traffic is heavier in the afternoon as opposed to the middle of the night.

20hrs round trip isn't too bad. driving long distances i'm good with, my only concern is that since it will be winter, is if there is a snowstorm. my truck will be fine, its just everyone else that can't drive in the snow, which would turn a 20hr trip into a 2 day trip. lol

well, i planned on my handgun and my .22lr rifle *when i had it*

 

the mosin was a spur of the moment purchase. The AK was also a spur of the moment, considering i went to cabelas for a lever action rifle and came home with an AK47. lol

 

So i'm 50/50, haha

Also, i have to disagree with your #4. 8hrs drive isn't that bad, no hotel needed. I've driven to florida before, 17 straight hrs, so 8 will be a walk in the park. lol

Hello everyone. I'm Patrick, been lurking on the site for awhile figured i'd introduce myself. I'm originally from Nutley, I now live in clifton. Currently own a Remington 597 .22LR, Springfield XD40, and a WASR-10/63. I normally go up to the Cherry Ridge Range or Bullet Hole.
