    I have my Dads .22 rifle in a case in my attic. He got it when he was a kid. Im guessing it is from the 50's, 60's at most. For the hell of it , i went into the attic and pulled it out, and there was some rust on the barrel. What are my options here. Im thinking WD-40 and a toothbrush, but i dont want to do it until i hear from you guys.

     

    Also, i didn't see a model number on it anywhere. Ill have to bring it down into the light and see if i can find something. It has a wooden stock with what appears to be a stainless steel bolt assembly. I would really like to find out what it is.

    man i miss my boat sometimes. I had a slip on the lake right next to manasquan inlet for 500.00 a year. Had to give it up when the lady passed. biggest striper i got off it was off of the twin towers near sandy hook. 42 lbs. Probably wont see another like that for a long time

     

     

     

    You will if you fish live bunker between that and 'Squan in June- July.

     

    Sadly, i never really caught something big with the live bunker. it was my favorite way. The big one i got was my last shot of the night, just bouncing a diamond jig off the bottom. I had no other fish that night. Funny part is, my brother didnt either, but we both had fish at the same time before we left. His was slighlty smaller :D

    Christie is shaking stuff up but I don't think he'll do anything supportive of the 2nd ammendment. Maybe if the state shows improvement spending wise he might try something else but he's better then the other gentlemen we had.

     

    Exactly. I like everyone else here, want changes in our gun laws more than anything. Unfortunately, he needs to put all of his attention to our budget, and so far, i applaud him for that.

    why the hell would you have to be a cop for five years to be a bounty hunter? Im sure this is just another dumb a** jersey law. Im sure the DOG was not a cop.

     

     

    And if you had seen firsthand some of the Serial ASSHATTERY these Morons have accomplished bothe here and in other states... The Kidnapping and Dumping of the Victim once they realized they had the wrong woman, and several Deaths, with ZERO accountability on the part of the Bounty Hunters...yeah i dont see this as a BAD thing. I've had them in the past kick the wrong doors, grab the wrong people, and do things that as a COP would land me in jail..only to have a complete walk beacuse of a SCOTUS decision that dates back to the early 19th century.

     

     

    I am not saying they should not require training and background checks. But being an ex leo does not necessarily mean they can do it better.

    Im sure the DOG was not a cop.

     

    Since DOG is a convicted felon, who served time for murder, I'm pretty sure he couldn't have gotten a job as a cop.

    yeah. Already PMed him. I need some time to work on her again. I have a Holley truck avenger and for some reason she would start blowing black smoke when the secondaries hit. I re adjusted it, and it seemed to be better. Now i have a battery draw that i can not figure out. I need a whole weekend to do it.

    would love to meet you guys there and meet everyone, but my wife has some cases tonight. Ill have to try another time. Toms River just got both my references in, so i guess im looking at 3 months for my id card and permits now. Have fun guys

    I was thinking of joining, and that is how i came upon this site. Just from what i read here, it sounds like they have plans being drawn up as we speak to rectify these problems. I saw the post about having a retention basin, so i am assuming they will be installing storm drainage throughout the property to collect the flow, therefor allowing the driveway to be kept. The retention basin needs to be big enough to retain all water flow from the impervious areas. Im not sure what kind of budget they have, but this will not be cheap by any means.

    let me know if you guys need pricing for the sitework (Utilities, grading, ect.)to be done. Im a project manager for an excavating company. We do this work all the time. I can look at the plans and give you an idea of the cost associated with the work.
