    In the end there will be a group hug! I will be out for a few weeks due to surgery, etc and Frank is on vacation for two weeks.

    I will be jumping back into things and I hope I can help settle some of the BS. As far as facebook goes, I guess it's great and it sucks at the same time. I just came back into it and check it maybe 3-4 times a day during the week. I am not sure how people can make a living when they are constantly posting on facebook! I haven't even shot in 2 years. (Will fix that soon). Anywho, I am back and will be at the next meeting in Winslow. I need to whip everyone back in shape! Good luck with your surgery bud. Keep us informed.

    Guys and gals

     

    My application has been in my truck for probably the last 2 years. I think I just need to put pics in it and a check. Has anything changed in the last 2 years that anyone knows about? I guess I can re print the forms and just use the fingerprint card I got from the local police department. I can't believe I waited this long. Stupid!

    I was extremely hesitant to support, or join NJ2AS because I've seen other 2A groups in NJ come and go belly up due to infighting, lack of support, lack of money, lack of people willing to volunteer. I too join, last March, because of the positive change that they did do regarding the FID process, and organizing the rally's in Trenton.

     

    But to see this current tinkling contest is depressing. The haters just dumped a new pile of $hit on us, and there's this mess to clean up. People might point and laugh about the rivalry between Bloomberg/MAIG and The Brady Campaign, but that is turning into a mirror reflection of us.

    Hang in there. It will be rectified. We will continue the fight in NJ!

    The NJ2AS had meetings in northern, central and southern nj. They rotated monthly. The problem will again to get people who put the time in. You will get a lot of people that want to be your regional or sectional leaders but you will find that it goes ok where.

    Exactly the problems any organization sees. You will have a lot of people say they will do something but never do. It's not easy. I wish any new organization the best of luck. Everything sounds good and everyone is

    motivated with something new but that does down quite fast.

    I appreciate your concern. I really do. Most of the original founders are not active on the board. Myself included. I was working 7 days a week when hurricane sandy hit and 2 of my children had health issues we had to deal with taking up my time. The other original founders that are no longer as active have their own reasons. I will check about the Bylaws. I think they were written but never put into effect. Imagine if we did have the Bylaws and a year after we first started had an election and someone got voted in that either couldn't put the time in or only really cared to get the title. I don't think anyone in this state could afford to have that happen. I am going to try to get down to the meeting in Winslow and i will speak to anyone who has any questions about the NJ2AS or what we stand for.

    The NJ2AS is not going anywhere. As one of the original 10 founders I was always against any Bylaws from the beginning until we are positive there are others out there who could take over and the organization not crumble. It is still not there yet. I wish this new group the best of luck. I really do. But being a new group and just bashing the old one does nothing to support the cause. If this continues and both groups fail, would it have been worth it? So I would have a serious talk with your new group about what's going on if they are serious at all about changing nj gun rights. We don't need fighting between groups. So tell them to form up and get out there and fight!

    I will let bob ring in about by laws because I have been out of the loop. There is nothing suspicious in this group. We can't please everyone and I understand that. But I also know that there will always be a select few who disagree and question everything the group does. It's like that everywhere. Hopefully bob can chime in on the Bylaws for you

    Well I stopped at one place called wt's on route 70. Heal eat selection of guns. Checked out some possible conceal carry weapons. I looked at the beretta nano, the s&w bodyguard and another s&w. I really liked the bodyguard so far. I will be checking them out more hw no get back to nj. For now I am waiting for my flight reading my first copy of recoil magazine. Never heard if it but looks cool

    Well said. Hopefully this puts to bed the "mole" and saboteur theories. I have been a dues paying member since the beginning and wish the group success but would like to see a change at the top too. Perhaps Frank's duties need to be divided and another position created. I don't think all of his tirades can be blamed on overwork though.

     

    Guys and gals

     

    I am an original founding board member of the nj2as. I like most of the board put everything aside to make the nj2as a success and not turn into just another group saying that they wanted to do something but never did. I probably know more than anybody what frank has gone through and the sacrifices he has made to lead the nj2as. No one in this world is perfect. No body. Every org ionization in the world will have people that join that disagree with what the group is doing or the direction they are moving. Front the beginning the nj2as board made it clear what our goals were going to be. We would start small (OEC) and climb the ladder from there. I personally think the board and all the members and volunteers have done a hell of a job so far with OEC. I got pistol permits this week from toms river who used to have extra paper work but thanks to our group no longer does. We said we would start attacking the smaller issues because we did have groups like the ANJRPC fighting the bigger battles. We put this all out there and the majority of the group/members agreed that it made sense. Every penny that comes into this organization is either put towards lawyers, pamphlets, meetings or whatever else is needed. No one gets a paycheck and no one ever expects too. I need everyone here to sit back and think about what has gone on the last few days. Really think about it. Should have it went down like that? Of course not, but it did. We all have to swallow our pride and move forward. The NJ2AS is not going anywhere. If anyone wants to distance themselves to start a new group to attack other angles we are all for that. We have always said that. If you don't agree with what we stand for or what our immediate plans are than you need to basically agree to disagree. We are already so far behind in our second amendment rights it is sickening. As for putting someone else at the top that could and may happen one day but not now in my book. I am behind frank 100%. We need to be. It's like a marriage so far. For better or worse. Don't give up now guys. That's all I ask.

     

    Ps. I write this from North Carolina as I flew Down here for business today. If we stick together and can make nj like nc it will be a miracle!
