    Flying into Raleigh then driving to Beaufort, NC for the day. It's a bout a 3 hour drive so I am sure I will stop at some gun shops. There are a bunch down there so I am looking to see if anyone knows that area and suggest a place. I will be driving route 70 all the way there and back. I think I will finally try Ruth's chris as there is one near my hotel in Cary. Wish I had a couple days but this is an in and out trip

    Gents

     

    I met Paul from GSD Coatings the other night while out for dinner. I heard someone speaking about guns so naturally I introduced myself. I am glad I did. I asked that they join NJGunforums because I know a lot of people here will have interest. I look forward to maybe getting that desert digital camo on my beretta 90-two. Looks nice! Welcome aboard guys!!!

    Guys. Frank should never had resigned in the first place. I understand why he did it. It's hard to keep doing something when your constantly being told your not making the right decision. We have to stand behind our leadership. We went through this same sort of thing when we first started. We have to stay united no matter what and realize that we are all human beings no matter what working towards the same goal. Let's please move past this as it does no good for anyone

    I really hope he changes his mind. I for one think he has been doing a good job, things are not going to change over night, this is an uphill battle and we need to stick together more than ever.

     

    Agreed. I have not been as active as I used to be just because of a new job and 3 young ones. I will make the next meeting in toms river. We are with you frank!

    Frank has states he will stay on board until a competent leader is found. We will not find anyone else in NJ like frank. I am praying he will change his mind and stay on because without frank, we may not be where we are today. The first year and half I would say was the toughest. The hours we put in to make this organization work was incredible. I almost lost my job and my home life was not the best because if all the time. Spent getting NJ2AS off the ground. I am sure that also goes for frank, bob, and the rest of the board. We also know we are nothing without our members. I am not sure what happened with ron and frank. We always discussed in the beginning that their will be times that we will get tested and this is one of those times. We can't please everyone but we need role members to always believe we have the best interest for the organization as while in every decision that is made. Out members need to stand behind frank now more than ever. I truly believe without him or bob, we would crumble.

    so the firearm permit lady actually slid a carry application under the glass? I'm surprised anyone even knew the form existed. I will say her tone has changed. I always got a "why do you need a gun sonny" vibe from her. When I accompanied a female family member she seemed very supportive of a first time FID & PP applicant. Might be a comradery thing but it was a better experience for sure.

     

    She was not in that day. Another woman helped. But I know who you are talking about!

    it's always been the law, the court just reminded the dopes at the PD that they need to follow the law just like the rest of us. When I went to Toms River a few years back for a new pistol permit they had all the extra forms, when an family member went down recently only the forms in the statute were required. I'm guessing the NJ2AS had everything to do with this, bravo to the judges

    You bet they did. I live in toms river and was not happy when I first saw those forms. Just an FYI I went down today to pick up my conceal carry app and some handgun permits and no extra paperwork.

    We didn't start until after 12 on Sunday but got a good amount done. We are as square this old house will ever let us be. So far so good. I'll keep you updated. Spent the first couple hours of the morning hanging the over the range microwave. It will save a lot of space

    Hey guys. Getting close to floor install. Hopefully this weekend. I have attached a quick sketch of my 1st floor layout. I have never had to install flooring around a room in the middle if a room. What is the best way to make sure as I come around this middle room that the laminate will meet each other correctly. I hope I explained this right. Picture laying the laminate parallel with the long walls and needing the laminate to meet equally when you get on the other side if that bathroom.
