  1. Well, I for one would have to say something. I witnessed first hand-a .22 rifle being un boxed FROM THE FACTORY, with a round in the chamber...Incredible. That's when you feel the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Thank God the salesman, after unboxing,  safety checked(as you should ALWAYS when picking up any firearm), and to his surprise and mine, out popped the cartridge...right onto the glass counter. It happens, more than you think.

  2. Yea, I am an NJ2AS Member and an NRA member. I am giving them a solid month(even as it annoys the HELL out of me) then the calls start-NJ2AS, State Police(as my FFL believes will light a fire under their *ss).

I'm must say, I am sick of the treatment. Since a new COP was sworn in about 1 1/2 yrs ago...the process in my town has come to a crawl. I used to get them back in 29-30 days max..the last 2x I applied-3-4 months. Total disrespect of the laws they are sworn to abide. It amazes me that the law abiding have to deal with this in NJ, sickening. I have NEVER had troubles with the law. Crooks go down to Paterson or Passaic or Irvington...wherever thugs go, and purchase, no permit necessary...It's really a crazy state we live in, run by loons.

    Rant over, shell empty.

did you inform nj2as or ANJRPC?
We are all in this together. These groups need to build there databases. Takes you 15 min tops.

Or you can just post here

  3.

Oh, they sat on them. Now I'm trying to get one of them extended. Sitting on that now for 3 weeks...Unbelievable.

Did they sit on them for awhile before they notified you that they were ready, or did they just wait for you to contact them to see if they were ready? My town sends a letter when they are ready to be picked up. Usually I only loose a day or 2 and they extend on the spot if needed.

  4. Yes, Burris Fastfire II.  Mounted seamlessly using mounting plate #01.  There are two lock screws in the rear of the Burris that lock the zero.  Unfortunately, the rear Glock sight impedes your access to these lock screws so it helps to have a rear sight pusher to get it off and back on after you zero the sight (or you can just leave the rear sight off).

I bought a couple Burris FF II's last year when they were blowing them out to make room for the FF III's.  I would much rather have a Trijicon RMR or Deltapoint as they seem better built and the red dot clarity on the Burris is nothing to write home about.

I ended up ordering the Trijicon RMR tonight. :-)

Darn thing is expensive-I will have to hide it from the miss' lol ("Oh, it came with that...it was in the box")

I'm having major trouble finding the AC32064 Mounting Plate...ugh

I didn't realize it was such a hot commodity.

  5. Mah Glock Fohtay

    Awesome-Gots me the same pair...and the 20 :-)

WTF-How do you like the Burris red dot? Looks like the Fast Fire II, correct?

    Was mounting seemless?

Shot the 40 this weekend and must say I was impressed.

I am still getting used to the trigger(needs to do a job on it), balance etc. but it really is fun as hell.

Bought me more ammo to practice with this weekend.

  6. Congrats & how do you like it ?

I have yet to shoot it but I'm sure it won't disappoint. This weekend :-)

    I will report back.

The sight radius is unreal. I have always wanted a long slide since shooting my friends Glock 35.

I'm really overwhelmed with the optics options. I want to keep it simple and pick from the glock site options( all 7 of them).

I know I'm not limited to these, but I'd like a seemless installation if possible.

  7. I paid $680 with NICS from Bullethole.

I didn't shoot it prior, but I knew I wanted a long slide-when they came out with this in 10mm(my favorite round) I had no other choice :-)

I will take it out this weekend, I like to clean and lube new guns prior to shooting for the first time-probably just my OCD disorder kicking in.

"diamondd817"- I will look into Burris, as long as there's no issue with the MOS mounting sys. Thanks for that input

  8. I just bought me one tonight :-)

    I couldn't resist...

And yes- I have the 20 and 29

I'm reasearching optics, the Leupold Deltapoint seems to be the go to on this Pistol for most...but wow is it expensive.

  9. 23 yards off hand. With a sand bag ?

No bag. Just standing. I wasn't really rapid firing, but not taking my time either. Comfortable pace, and concentration on good form.

That gun is just a lot of fun to shoot.

  10. I don't normally post range session pics on the forum, but I had to sing some Hi Power praise.

I love this pistol. I bought it last year, and the only changes were the VZ grips and removed mag safety, other than that she's totally stock.
Nice shooter. The target is 23 yards off hand…one flyer, but not horrible for my old eyes.

And btw...it's a 6" target, not one of those large ones. Makes the group of 4 around 1.375".
Anyone else on here a Hi Power fan? I'm thinking of getting a vintage (50's-early 60's) model. Can you share any thoughts/info? Thanks!
