Yeah, I figure as much but a man can dream. But it seems like things are happening in other restrictive states (e.g. CA, IL). I realize the only likely solution is to move elsewhere when I retire. But that's still a way to go.

Interesting point in there about no state pre-emption. Does this mean even if the lawsuit prevails on CCW towns could then restrict it?
Also interesting that they chose the red is bad / blue is good color pattern. Purely non-political I'm sure.

As long as we're on the topic, do you need anything special to sell a handgun either to another person or to a gunstore?

This is one of my favorites: Chuck Norris's tears can cure cancer, but he never cries.

Where is this?

I'm not sure if you mean a pistol grip stock or a just a plain old pistol grip.
I meant the pistol grip stock.
-
I was thinking about purchasing a shotgun primarily for HD and the range (unlikely for hunting or clays) and was just curious about pistol grip vs. standard configuration. Obviously I will want to see which one seems more comfortable, but was curious if there are any advantages/disadvantages to either configuration, especially given my intended use. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
If it helps, I was thinking of Benelli SuperNova Tactical, which can come either way. Though I've heard good things about the Mossberg 590 A1 as well...

I guess I meant not so much unseen but unable to hold it in your hand. At Classic Pistol, they have Dan Wessons that come from the factory with the slide locked back with a zip tie so you can't rack it.
-
I'm assuming if you plan to buy new you need to purchase sight-unseen since no dealer has them in stock?
-
Given that there are at least two other 'justifiable need' lawsuits in the pipeline (NY & MD) I imagine SCOTUS would feel compelled to address it. At least I hope so.
-
More specifically, I'm curious how they stack up vs. Dan Wesson or Kimber or S&W pro series 1911s in .45 cal.
-
Just wondering whether anyone out there owns a Les Baer 1911. If so, how do you like it? Haven't seen them mentioned much in the forums.
-
I guess this means every state gov't employee has to answer 'yes' to this question.
-
I haven't seen this mentioned, so I thought I'd bring it up. I'm surprised nobody has pointed this out before, though I have to admit I didn't catch it the first time.
From the State of New Jersey Application for Firearms Purchaser Identification Card and/or Handgun Purchase Permit
Question 28:
Are you presently, or have you ever been a member of any organization which advocates or approves the commission of acts of force and violence, either to overthrow the Government of the United States or of this State, or which seeks to deny others their rights under the Constitution of either the United States or the State of New Jersey? [emphasis added]
Uh, you mean like you guys are? You know, that pesky 2nd amendment. I doubt the people who created this form even realized the irony.

Welcome from New Egypt. I am in Allentown everyday going to work.
Love La Piazza and like Classic Pistol, could pass on the amount of tickets Allentown writes.
Yeah, I remember when I was first moving there everyone warned me not to speed.

Welcome Jeff. I've always enjoyed what the state of Pa. has to offer; from the great motorcycle roads, to the excellent gun laws and everything in between.
Thanks for stopping by.
Actually I'm from the Allentown that it's NJ, which gets overshadowed by its more famous neighbor in PA. I sure wish I was over there instead.

Welcome. Got any good stuff?
Not compared to most of the people here. I have a few 9mm's and a .22 target pistol. Been thinking about getting some long guns but no firm plans.

Just wanted to finally say hello. Been lurking for a bit and have been meaning to finally register. Stumbled upon the forum while searching for info on the NJ CCW lawsuit. And normally I'm not a big fan of lawyers...
Well anyway, hope to start taking part in the discussions.

Oh yeah, I also like how you get a -2 demerit for no permit CCW. Wonder how they weigh in on the rest of the constitution. Let's give them a red marker for making corrections...
