  1. Ok 2 things, 1st, Guam pre-snake or post snake infestation??

2nd, TDY pics or it didn't happen. :icon_mrgreen:

87 - 89. sure there were plenty o' snakes. More of a concern to troops was crashing into giant boonie Pigs while drag racing your K-Car in the Conventional Storage Area. That will ruin your day...and tour. Snakes, they were more interested in decimating the bird population.

TDY pics ? unlikely, I'll dig around the parents attic next time over. Most of my pics went up in flames with an old relationship.

  2. So here are the couple videos I managed to get. I had thought I cleared the memory card but I guess I was wrong, so it ran out pretty quickly. It didn't help that I never turned it off the entire time we were clearing the jam from my gun. I only managed to get both of Maks' classifiers along with bcoops and Tony357, also on the classifier.

    Thanks !

  3. USAF Security Police-Law Enforcement. Basic and academy San Antonionio Texas. Then to Fort Dix for for air base ground defender. Then to Andersen AFB Guam (beach patrol at taraque best duty). Many tdy' s to Phillipines, Australia, Japan. Great times and lots of insane stories. Most of the time you can't wait to get out, now I realize what a great time it was. Got out right before desert shield.

  4. I had a fun time... awesome practice with valuable lessons from Vlad, Jim and the other long time USPSA shooters. Whenever I attend the indoor, I also try to listen in again at the safety briefing for new shooters.

It was great meeting Mike the wife.

Bill, thanks for showing everybody a different way of doing mag reloads.icon_mrgreen.gif

  5. Just got back from bullseye tactical on main street in woodbridge. He has the sig 1911 22lr in sand (fde) color with us logo on the grips. Very nice and price is about the same as the I picked up the gsg for.

Chris is a great guy who also shoots uspsa at central jersey. So if ya need anything he ll get it. and your supporting a local shop and fellow sportsmen.

  6. I have a CZ 75B,40B,40P and an Sp-01 Shadow Target so I am biased.

If you like your 75B imagine what it would be like with a competition hammer and reduced mainspring. All my CZ'S have gone to the CZ Custom Shop for those refinements and I can tell you when they come back they are a totally different gun. For the $160 it is well worth it.

Now my Shadow Target is already a Custom Shop gun when I bought it and it will punch out a quarter size hole at 25 yards from a rest!

Very interested in the shadow target, everything ive read about it sounds great. I put in a price request on this forum and two came back said they could nt get it. One said no supply the other said mag restriction.

  7. It is normal. The application is sent to USPSA along with the classifier scores. Once received, it takes a few weeks to get your number. OB was a little behind last month submitting scores, and thus why the wait. When you go to the match, just tell them/pre-register and in the number box, select "pending". All uspsa scores will be matched up to you once the number is established by USPSA.

Thanks. sent e-mail to Jim and USPSA membership
