Done via PP.
Lost one cat on a Monday in December. He was the first one that just showed up at the house and needed a home. He was rather old so not a total shock.
Later that same week our female cat coughed a few times let out a loud meow and plopped at my wife's feet breathing very hard.. We rushed her to our vet, he stabilized her and later we
brought her to Crown Vet in Lebanon. She has heart trouble and is now on Lasix and a few more meds. I can't say enough about the staff at Crown vet, NortStar and my own vet.
I know what the bills are like.

+1 For Williamsburg, VA
Also Chincoteague, VA
Hudson Valley is very nice, but I wouldn't go unless the mansions were open (Montgomery Place, Wilderstein, Olana, Vanderbilt, Mills mansion, etc)
Probably outside the price but Mohonk Mountain House is a great place with excellent hiking.

Thanks Bob. Looks like I need another order from Brownells.
Edit: Just watched the BMT video. I think that will be the first purchase after I get a 929. Looks amazingly quick.

It's a Ruger GP100. No holster or speed loaders. For what I do I don't need the former and am not permitted to use the latter
Interesting: I have a total of one gun that's competition worthy? I guess these competitions are tilted in favor of large-caliber semi-autos.
Yes, that's why some people shoot revolvers anyway. If your GP100 has a 4" barrel you should give the IDPA match at EFGA a go.
I don't have a holster but I could loan a few speedloaders and holders for the match (looks like 686 and GP100 use the same COMP III).

I usually go to slick guns, enter the model number and then (if no one has anything in stock) do a stock watch with the companies that come up in the search. Never had much luck with gallery of guns when the item is not in stock.

S&W 929, S&W 625 mountain gun in 45 colt or Ruger Sass Vaquero set in 357.

Welcome from another place in Warren County!

I got the turnbull 1911 WW1 - it is extreemly beatuful, and shoots exceptionally well. I did a 4" group at 25 yards first time out with standard ball, standing 2 hand. Not an easy feet with the small sights and no checkering on front and back of grip. The gun is custom fitted. The TB customer service - none better. It really is a steel to get an exquisitly (truly) blued (not blackish) custom fiited gun for 1950$
Well if I did go for the Turnbull Sass model I'd never be able to change my sass alias - it gets engraved on the slide.

Thanks all.
Those were the models knew met this reuqrement:
"non-adjustable “military style” rear sights and blade type front sights"
@BlueLineFinish,
I really appreciate that but I'm about a mile from the Delaware, although close to 78.

Starting to look for a new 1911, a more traditional gun that can be used for wild bunch CAS.
So far my options seem to be Springfield mil-spec, Remington R1, Colt 01991, Armscor (either Rock Island or model offered by Cimarron). I think Para was making a SASS 1911 did not see it on there website. Love the new Turnbull model but am not looking to spend anywhere near that for this gun.
Anyone have any of these? Any I should steer clear of or any head and shoulders above the rest?
Did I miss any?
Thanks!

1. Try a steel shoot.
2. Appleseed
3. More CAS and more clays

If the weather is half decent - I'm in.
LWRC worth the money?

Knights Armament or Noveske The KAC would be my choice. Or get a White Oak upper and build your own lower and shoot some open sights.
