  2. Is there "class" or something along that I can attend that goes over some of the gray? I have a feeling that you almost have to be a lawyer to even carry a gun.
  3. Very good point.....the issue is with Jersey nothing is black and white.....WAY to much gray. It sucks that I would even have to think about this just to cover my as$ god forbid
  4. Yea...I guess that is a good point. I just thought that maybe a "warning" before the shit hits the fan would a good idea.....I guess was wrong. I guess this state has my worried about protecting me and my family. I guess this is not a cover your as$ situation.
  5. So I have a hypothetical question. Let's say I am walking down the street with my wife. A man approaches us in a threatening manner. Am I legally ok to inform the potential threat that I am armed. I am NOT pulling my gun out and I am NOT showing my gun......just simply informing that I am armed.

  7. So I finally got my Savage Arms Axis Xp yesterday. The gun looks great and I can not wait to shoot it. My qustions is I thought the .223 and the 5.56 round is the same. The guy at Cheyanne Outfitters is telling me different. So i guess my question is can I shoot the 5.56 ammo threw my gun. And also is there a big price difference between the two. And as always I thank you guys and this website, Whenever I am in doubt I know I can always count on you guys for the answeres.
  8. So I bought a savage arms axis xp .223 and now I am looking for a bi-pod. I just need to know what i need to buy to do make this happen. Also were is the best place to get replacement magazines.
  9. man i just dont know what the hell i want!! I want a gun that is just going to be inexpensive when it comes to what ammo I use. Or would i just be better getting a bolt action .223
  10. how about a saiga .223 with a decent scope???? I noticed the rounds are plentyfull and cheap.....or i should say inexpensive
  11. I am to the point were i would rather shoot the 15-22 than my glock, walther, or taurus
  12. around $400-500 total for gun and scope and as far as skill level I am very new to this. And basically just shooting for shits and giggles
  13. as most of use here budget is always a factor. i was thinking along the bolt action style, but really dont know what model caliber ect. and as always thank you guys for helping me out with this. There is just so much out there and very confusing.
  14. I am kind of new to the whole gun thing. I have a a few hand guns and a M&P15-22 which I love to shoot. But now I want to go for longer distant shooting like 150 yrds plus. Not sure what I should be looking for. Any help I would be very thankful.

  16. we were in lane #6 I brought a glock27 and a walther p22.......had a blast with the walther. The old man has a taurus pt99, and some kind of 380 I know it had a star on it but that is all I know...It was a nice gun. We had a blast......
  17. My first trip to Ft. Dix was great. MY dad who is in the Air Force bought the mebership yesterday and I have to say we had a great time. This place is less than (1) minute from my house. I will be joining without a doubt when I get back from vacation. So I just want to say thank-you to the guys and gals on this forum who did suggest this place. Next time I just hope it not as HOT!!!

  20. I am new to this gun thing so just bare with me......I ride a Honda sport bike and i just checked and there is no trunk or glove box How do I transport my hand gun from home to range.
