    First 9mm?

I am really interested in tne FNH FNS-9 that is to be released this fall, early next year. However, I know that I won't be able to get the magazine size I want, 15+1, when it comes out. It is quite frustrating when you have a time limit on your FAID and it really is hard to "try" a gun for a little while and then sell it if you really find it isn't for you. For example. I love my Beretta 92FS, but it is hard for me to shoot from double action, as the trigger distance is too much. I cannot get rid of it, though, without losing a lot of its value. I do like the Glock 19 and I have been thinking about the Beretta 92 Compact. I wish there was a 92 Compact in the new A1 style with upgradable sights, ability to take full-size magazines and a better grip.
  2. Why is it so hard to try and find a dependable, reasonably priced defensive handgun with a 13 to 15-round magazine that will fit small to medium hands, that comes in 9mm, and that has an external safety and removable, upgradable sights? I have considered the SR9, but there just is something about it I don't like. I have considered the FNH FNP, but I like the FNX, better. I have considered the FNH FNX, but it is impossible to get in NJ due to magazine sizes. Most of the Hi-cap nines are moving into the 16 plus range for magazines, so I am stuck with either nothing or the 10-rounder for California and such. I like the Glock 19, but it has no factory safety and the grip is just a little too big. I have considered a 1911 in 9mm, but I am unfamiliar with them. Does anybody have any other suggestions.
  3. I am really tired of the attitudes of many dealers. As a paying customer, I really expect more from them. I know that many are hurting, and I know that the laws in this state annoy them as much as they do all of the 2nd Amendment Citizens, but they really can be apathetic sometimes. When I have money in hand and I know what I want, they are quite unwilling to order me what I want if they don't have it. They would rather that I purchase from their existing stock, though. They would also not assist me in locating what I want, used, and they would not attempt to see if another local dealer had what I wanted in stock. And the clincher is that I have spent a lot of money in some of their stores and with each frustrating purchase, they don't treat me like a valid returning customer. In truth, they are not all like that. But many of them are. It is hard enough trying to circumnavigate the unconstitutionally-based laws, and they have to make it even harder. I would only purchase privately if that was even an avenue in this State, so as not to deal with many of them. Am I alone, or have others experienced dealers that don't seem to have the right attitude?
