Their fear is unfounded!  The criminal element from those cities won't apply for a CCW!  99% have criminal records that would stop them!  The politicians know that as well as we do.  They are using that supposed fear to stop US!

Mr Colandro has been making the point as long as I’ve been listening to his GFH program that there is in fact a ruling class & tier system.  The “no guns for minorities” audio further reinforces the point.

The claim that Mercer has started issuing permits cannot be true. The claim originated after Mercer allegedly issued two permits. As of August 26th (it was sent to the judge) my application was in the 50s. I have not been notified of any changes to my application status.

I think one of those two permits had some sort of a backstory. To put it in a different way I think there was a little more to it than just going through the normal permit channels.

At this point my app has been at the County longer than it took local PD and perhaps the same for yourself. So the county has now become the bottleneck. And with the exception of the kill-the-carry bill you know the wheels of local & state government are going to grind to a halt Thanksgiving week so add on another 7 days. GFH Radio said Murphy wants to sign the bill before year end otherwise they would have to re-start their process which is another story for the other thread

is this confirmed? i would imagine that legally(yea don't laugh) they have to provide more time than that, or grandfather whoever already has theirs.......

Nothing is a done deal until it is signed into law but keep in mind these are the same people that previously included boxcutters & baseball bats in the legislation so don’t put anything past theses partisan POS hacks. You heard the bill sponsor Danielsen say this bill does nothing to curb crime, what else do people need to see?

Personally I’m more concerned about people here NOT sending the emails and NOT supporting the local 2A groups than I am about the proposed bills itself. If they don't get push-back expect more of the same

  4. For those who missed it and didn't get in before the 3PM cut-off email them directly

As it stands if this bill passes and you have a CCW you will have only 90 days to meet the new training requirements not yet determined. Everyone will be scrambling to requalify and most likely many permits will be revoked due to the time.

Veterans day and thanksgiving - vacations are coming! Then we have Christmas. Things will get slow for sure.

Good point, you know they weren’t completing apps the Labor Day week either. I know someone who had jury duty 9/6 to 9/9 and called the Friday before the holiday see if they had to report the Tuesday(9/6) after the holiday and they were advised via the automated message their jury service was completed. So its not just a single day, at the local gov levels its a week. so I agree the the holidays will likely bring it all to a complete stop.

Then there is A4769, where the courts are on record that they want “out” sooner rather than later.

this part I don't get, care to elaborate?

I guess this issue made for good PR for ANJRPC, but was it a productive use of resources? Why not wait and see if the idiots would really pass something as blatantly unenforceable as the original bill? That would have made them laughing stocks to an even wider audience, and potentially could have made challenges to the law trivial.

After listening to the GFH’s latest post with Scott Bach’s testimony I think it fair to say metaphorically speaking of course this is the hill to die on for the NJ Dems. They are clearly all-in and have no plans on backing down. With Property Taxes and out of control state spending, crime plus all the damage they did with the lock-downs and vax mandates and now they are all-in with this? It just makes no sense.  I’m just glad Scott Bach and Dan Schmutterour are on our side of the football instead of Nia Gill and Joseph Danielsen. The problem here is as always is that it takes longer to undo the damage they do than it does for them to create it.

Well that sucks. Mine probably made it there a month later... Have you notified ANJRPC StrikeForce?

yes, its amazing how it varies county to county. I guess mercer sucks because its basically in the capitol complex

  8. Not as long as some other members on the forum but definitely longer wait times than others here in Mercer. Yesterday (11/04/2022) at the close of business was day 112. I called local PD after the 100 day mark and they said my app was sent to the court on 9/9/2020 so allowing  3 days for the mail the county has been sitting on it for 52 days + or – a day.

  9. I renewed my CDL with NJ Real ID 3 ~4 months ahead of time in August 2021, as we seen on full display the scamdemic had caused additional problems to an already dysfunctional system so I want to get it done.  I made the appointment and still had to wait in line with walk-ins which made no sense at the Baker’s Basin Lawrenceville location, it took about 90 minutes.

On a side not if you even want to pull an abstract or do other NJDMV online stuff you need an UIN number so that might be handy, it don’t cost anything just apply online  https://mymvc.state.nj.us/userid-request/
