I was getting from dicks also and ran into the same problem. I now order in bulk online and find even with shipping it cost less and I always have a stock pile at home. There is not many places to buy ammo in the brick/tomsriver area at a good price ant would like to support the locals but there prices are crazy. Bob kislin's here in tome river wants 18 bucks a box of 50 9mm.

 

I quests my ranting is just order on line till the shops around(who know there are not many places to get ammo) can compete with online pricing.

Gently push a screw driver tip into the bullet if it easily deforms they are plated.

 

Just tried this on a few reloads and some s&b rounds. Almost cut my finger off( just kidding ism not foolish) they are hard as rocks. Fmj for the win

Looks like one of the shells got stepped on and the resizer couldnt squeeze it out. Are those plated bullets or FMJ, looks plated to me.

 

 

Each box says fmj on them. How can I find out if plated?

They are here and I have to say FedEx is slow. They came in a small well stapled/taped box. They are very clean. Cleaner than the Remington rounds I have. They come loose in 50 count boxes. I have never used reloads before and did noticed not one shell is straight up and down( you will see In pictures).

Here is a close up. On the right is remington, left are reloads. You can see the gap between the reloads. Is this normal?

 

 

Gonna try this weekend to get to the range and report how they shoot. I did take down the 9 and put a bunch of rounds of the reloads and the Remington in the barrel and the all fit well.
