  1. I shot there for a year. Only left because of the high membership fee. Have nothing bad to say about them except for the fact that you cant keep your brass, once it hits the ground its theirs.

  2. Exactly three days, seventeen hours, and 13 minutes ago, I was at my parents' home in Terry's Point, NJ, celebrating a sort of late Christmas with my cousin, John Schweitzer, age 27, of Harleystown, NY, who had just returned from a vacation in Pelican Point, FL, where he had been staying at a Motel 6 for 2 weeks during his vacation from his construction job with AlConBill in Mercer County.  At exactly 10:03, which I know because a new Mythbusters episode had just come on the Science Channel (channel 872), and Jamie and Adam were describing how they were going to bust a myth about exploding underwear, we heard a very loud bang from the basement, which is coincidentally the lowest floor of the light blue ranch-style home, located at 73 Smith road, on 1.75 acres, near the large oak tree over the dark green mailbox.  6.79 seconds later, we heard another bang, about 2.3dB louder than before.  I said, "I'll go down and check it out!"  I was carrying my Glock-17 Generation 3 RTF loaded with 15 rounds of Remington Golden Sabre 9mm 147grain rounds.  My parents, (Alice and Howard Zismann), know I carry, as such they are fine with me doing it on their property, which is also my second legal residence.

More details does not mean more real...

You forgot to use the "F" word multiple times.

  3. Finally bought a chronograph to check my reloads. Gun shop where I bought it told me they hardly sell them anymore. I was wondering if you guys use them. I have heard some people say they are necessary and others say you don't need one. I want to see how accurate I am getting to the reload data.

  4. I am a current member. The only thing closed is the back ranges. There is an appeal to get the back ranges re-opened. There are several ranges in the front, including 50 and 100 yards.  There is a skeet shooting area too on the 100yd range.  Haven't used the indoor range yet so don't know much about it. Not for sale as far as I know.

  5. yes, i was denied back in 92 according to the officer. i have 5 disorderly persons convictions on my record, this all happened when i was in my late teens to early 20s. it wasn't even an issue when i joined the army. but i'll keep everyone posted on this.

Are you kidding? 5 convictions and then you lied about it.  At this point I would question whether they are indeed disorderly person charges or something more serious.

  6. i forgot to mention an arrest that happened in 1995 thinking it was the disorderly charge, and the second one was that i applied before back in 1992 but totally forgot all about it. yes, you are correct, the 2nd ammendment is a constitutional right not a god givin right. i'm definately going to go with a lawyer to help me out on this. thanks again fellows for all your help.

You applied in 1992 and were denied?

  7. Went down today to check it out. Got there around 1:30. It was not crowded but it was doing brisk buisness.

The gun and hunting areas were by far the most busy.  I didnt go into the pistol area, but that seemed the busiest.

I went down there to check out the reloading supplies.

Lots of brass and bullets and several different brands of primers including CCI, Federal and Remington.  Price for CCI small and large primers was 39.99 / 1000.  There was very little powder and of what I saw it was rifle only. Lots of reloaders, tumblers and other accessories.

Lot of ammo. A lot of people crowded around the .22.  It is getting kind of embarrassing watching all these people clamoring for .22.

Saw an old man and his grandkid going over a rack of Mosin Nagants priced at $169.00 looking for the best one.

Check out was 3-4 people deep but moving quickly.

    Cool store.
