Call and ask about permits, and see what she does haha, you will be transferred before you can even get a word in.

    Just called.

I was able to complete my entire question/statement before she transferred me. Only because my very last word was FID. She said hold on: Then transferred, rang twice then voice mail "Mike Cassy" ..... I had nothing to say so I hung up....

  2. This was brought to my attention recently during a TX CHL class.   Any opinions?

Basicly what I was told that Florida will not recognize their own license from NJ residents unless we had one from NJ. I have my Florida License an was unaware of this.

790.015 Nonresidents who are United States citizens and hold a concealed weapons license in another state; reciprocity.—
    (1) Notwithstanding s. 790.01, a nonresident of Florida may carry a concealed weapon or concealed firearm while in this state if the nonresident:
    (a) Is 21 years of age or older.
    (b) Has in his or her immediate possession a valid license to carry a concealed weapon or concealed firearm issued to the nonresident in his or her state of residence.
© Is a resident of the United States.
    (2) A nonresident is subject to the same laws and restrictions with respect to carrying a concealed weapon or concealed firearm as a resident of Florida who is so licensed.
    (3) If the resident of another state who is the holder of a valid license to carry a concealed weapon or concealed firearm issued in another state establishes legal residence in this state by:
    (a) Registering to vote;
    (b) Making a statement of domicile pursuant to s. 222.17; or
© Filing for homestead tax exemption on property in this state,

  3. So question, I have a stripped lower purchased online, Transferred through NJ FFL to me. Was it transferred as "other" or "Rifle"  I did receive a COE.  I still have that lower with nothing done to it. Can I take that lower out of state, complete the lower with the intentions of making it a legal Pistol in that state, and leaving it in that state. Not sure i can do that since it might be seen in the eyes of the ATF that it was transferred as to be a rifle, even thought it was never made into a rifle.

I have zero plans on completing this in NJ, not sure I will do it period.

  4. Is it possible that the pads are reversed? The inner and outer could be switched..... My father in law did that accidentally. So 4000 miles later the outer pad was so thin it actually became lodged between the rotor and caliper bracket, and inner pad was nearly brand new 95% left. When he asked me to help change them, I went to replace the pads the same way he had them....thinking that was the correct way. After seeing the inner pad was hard to fit, and the outer was too easy.... I realized he had them backwards..... Now with both pads being on the correct side of the rotor all is well.

This was on 97-99 Toyota RAV4

  5. Take a look at Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol club. www.obrpc.org  they have a really nice setup, the club will get you involved with a lot of matches. Great people.

Indoor range is 24hour access. outdoor range is normal day light hours for the most part. 100, 50, yard rifle, 25yard pistol and shot gun area.

  6. And now CNN is saying this:

Charleston racist shooter Roof wanted an AR-15; had magazines, accessory....Earlier this year, he told an officer he wanted an AR-15 assault rifle.

A search of Roof's car turned up six crescent-shaped, 40-round magazines in the trunk.

"That's scary," former U.S. Attorney and State Law Enforcement Division Director Reggie Lloyd told The State newspaper, which first reported the development.

"We ought to be thankful he never got his hands on an AR-15."

This stuff that comes out of their mouth is so ridiculous

  7. No one that isn't insane would walk around that area without a large bore gun on their person.  I bet even the camera guys were carrying something.

Impossible.... what if the TV show director sees a bear and yells at the camera guy to "SHOOT THE BEAR"!  Then what...... he has to decide to use his camera, or 44 Mag.

I am kidding, I would carry too.
