Time to burn my second permit. I found a store that has a glock 17 and glock 34 gen 4 in stock. I'm seriously thinking of picking one up. Thoughts? I'm also still pondering about the Glock 22 Gen 4 because of the stock 15 round magazine and I hear the muzzle flip is better in the Gen 4.

I own a M&P 9 and I'm trying to figure out my next gun. Permit expires soon and there is slim pickings because of the firearm demand. Everyone seems to have the Glock 22 in stock, everyone is out of the 17 and 19.

A lot of people say the recoil of the Glock 22 is bad. Would anyone buy a Glock 22 over a Glock 17 or 19?

Yes, on the handgun purchase permit. One section the PD fills in, and the other section the dealer fills in. One field is the gun type and serial number. I'll call Caso's tomorrow.

So I just realized Caso's typed the wrong serial number on my Handgun purchase permit. They were off by one digit. How do I go about correcting this? I'm registered to a gun I don't even own.. .

I have a second handgun purchase permit that will become valid late next week. Can I buy a gun and have the dealer hold it for me until my purchase permit is valid? I will be out of the 30 day window late next week. Another idea, can they post date my purchase permit paperwork and submit it once the valid date hits? A store has a gun in stock that I want, would hate to lose it waiting another week. Thoughts?

Does anyone have a compact and only use it for HD and at the range? I own a M&P9 FS and love it. I'd like to stay with the same platform, and I'm considering the M&P9c. Does it make sense to buy a compact when the primary use will be for range shooting?
