A 10.5 inch barrel and 5.5 inch extension won't get you to the 16 inch minimum barrel length

What kind of rifle. What caliber and how many rounds?
That's pretty extreme. Was there a bullet stabilization problem too?
DPMS AR ( .920 Bull bbl. ) , .223 / 5.56 , no idea on the round count , not my gun I just happened to be there when it started throwing rounds sideways

Definitely this , my SSA-E only cost me $156Just wanted to add that I never paid over $200 for any of these triggers -- Gotta wait or the holiday sales and buy then...

That is cool! How well does it work as a brake though?
Finally got around to firing it today, felt good to me , also watched as I had someone else shoot it , lower flash , less concussion and muzzle rise than some of the others I've tried ( the pointy thing in the booth next to me was pretty obnoxious, not that I mind but I worry about the people next to me who may ) . Paid $25 bucks for it, I'm happy

Getting the Gamma at a lower cost interest you ?

If using a 14.5" bbl the EX will bring you to legal length , is pre drilled and the same price

I just used one of these --https://geissele.com/13-super-modular-rail-mk4-m-lok.html
It's not exactly round but it does have a good feel in the hand --
4 short rail sections on the end for accessories -- the barrel nut and way it all hooks up are exceptional
You do have to wait for a holiday to purchase -- Geissele usually runs 25% off sales for the holidays -- primary arms/ rainier arms had this for the 4th of July at $187 -- Rainier had free shipping
Geissele had a 50% off blem sale on July 4 , got a 13" Mk2 for $112.50, still haven't found the blemish and not having to time the nut is priceless

The BEV block isn't for seating the barrel it's to take torque off of the extension pin and transfer it to the lugs.
Mate the barrel and receiver then mount on BEV block and tighten barrel nut.
Stand the receiver up on end ( use a folded towel under it )and tap the barrel down till its seated

No experience with the ACT , the PSA EPT I put in my 9mm AR feels a lot smoother and crisper than the standard PSA FCG that I had in it.

Long before Loretta Weinberg we had Dianne Feinstein
" If I could’ve gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them — Mr. and Mrs. America turn ’em all in — I would have done it. I could not do that. The votes weren’t here."

i refused to buy a 9mm 1911.
I'm curious as to why ?
Almost everyone I know has 1 in their collection , less expensive to shoot , slightly higher capacity and just fun plain fun.
Pick one up and it's a 1911 . pull the trigger it's like " Wait, what ? "

Sent it to Golf , haven't heard back

The M4e1 upper has the BAR style rail mount as part of the forging.Im sure it can happen with anything mass produced.
Are you taking about a flat top receiver? Im not understanding why it would have a rail mounting hole? Are you talking about the handguard (not the receiver)?
Both issues were easy to fix , won't let them turn me away from the brand , and the fact that they really stepped it up by sending the bcg makes me like them even more

I prefer Aero over BCM. Honestly, i dont see why BCM sells at a premium to Aero being that the quality is about the same.
For those that arent familiar with Aero Precision, their background is in the aero space industry, hence the name and their experience making parts to tight tolerences.
Like their stuff a lot
Their tolerances aren't always up to par, I haven't had an issue but my buddy has gotten an M4E1 upper/rail combo that had 2 of the rail mounting holes untapped and another that needed the holes on the rail bored out in order to line up
They were kind enough to send him out a free bcg to make up for the issues

OK , so Sig was unable to make it work for him, I went on the Geissele site and made sure it was good then cancelled it out , so it's still available if anyone else wants it
Best deal on a quad rail anywhere. SMOS
