  1. One idea to get the word out might be to post on some of the range's Facebook pages. RTSP has 5000 likes and like minded people visit the site frequently.

Another place to spread the word might be in NJ.com comment section of appropriate stories. Lots of folks commenting on a few of the tragedies in the state have commented on their lack of being able to exercise their 2A rights.

A third option might be if we could get ammoland or a sympathetic news media (Fox????) to give the drive some publicity.

Heck - you'd think the NJ-chapter of the NRA might spread the word.

    Just some thoughts ....

Was wondering what are the opinions here on the Sog trident mini as an EDC? Is it nj compliant with the assisted opening technology ?

I do like the built in line cutter. Or am I better off with something like a kershaw 1/2 ton since I am going to lose it eventually anyway . ;)

Again thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts and opinions !

  3. I'm getting back into the sport after a very long absence and having a "blast" with my M&P 15 Sport. As an entry level AR I'm quite happy with the purchase.

Been to Cherry Ridge several times as a guest and thinking about joining though I realize that is a topic for another thread....

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced scope? I'd preferably like to keep the iron sights intact (A2 front / magpul folding rear) and simply add it to the Picatinny rail. The main purpose would be plinking on the 50 / 100 yd range and of course zombie defense.

Again thanks to everyone on the forum for sharing their knowledge and insights. The forum has become my go to place to learn about the sport and it's nice to know that there are others in NJ that also enjoy it.

  4. Quote

On March 30, 2012 the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division overturned Brian Aitken's conviction of 'Illegal Possession of Firearms' and acquitted him of the 'Illegal Possession of High Capacity Magazines' charge. The conviction of 'Illegal Possession of Hollow-point Ammunition' was upheld on the basis that the exemptions to the charge do not specifically allow for an individual to transport the ammunition from one house to another while moving.

Wow I didn't know that either....so what is one supposed to do with any hollow point ammo they may have when moving if they cannot transport to new home?... Leave it with a ribbon for new owners of the home...burry in yard... Call the eod unit in to dispose of?..... Or some usual nj ridiculousness to follow the law verbatim ....on last day of residence of old house transport to range then to new home thereby being "within exemptions" ? Smh

I think you need to go to the range from your old house. Discharge some and then drive to your new place.

It fits into the crazy nj exemptions IMHO.
