  1. That doesn't make sense.  If the follower has the vertical clearance to accept rounds 10-15, it has the same clearance to load against a closed bolt up until the 15th round.  Can you test it in another AR?

Whether it makes sense or not it's exactly what is happening.

I'm shooting with friends in early October so that would be the first opportunity I'll have to try it in other rifles.

  2. Another question... Should an MP 15 sport accept a PMAG without first pulling back the charging handle ? I took my new MP 15 Sport to the range for the first time today (I'm new to the AR15 platform) and could insert the stock magazine no problem with the breech open or closed . The PMAG required that the breech be open / charged to accept the magazine.

    Thanks!

    They were from MidwestPX .

  3. I'm relatively new and getting back into the sport after a long hiatus. I picked up two p2p's last year and picked up a Glock 23 and a Browning Buckmark Hunter. I figured one carries a decent punch and the other makes for inexpensive practice when you can find 22lr.

I recently put in for a few more p2p's. I was wondering what others here would recommend I research as my possible next purchases.

I've been considering a Bodyguard .380 or a 1911 but at this point I'm totally open.

On a side note does the Gen 4 recoil spring truly knock down the kick of the .40. I don't feel it as being particularly snappy and prior to purchase I read some people didn't like it.

Before purchase I rented a G22 (slightly heavier) and didn't find it all the bad.

    Thanks all!

Oh - and I'm really enjoying the forum!

  4. I also believe it's a victory. Not losing something is the same as gaining something. Just look at the comments online. The other side is up in arms. At a minimum it puts the move to PA off another 4 years. If we can get a Republican legislature in November and CC gets his conservative NJ Supreme Court nominations confirmed who knows what could happen?

I also want to thank everyone on the forum as it was a great place to go to keep up with what was going on and for getting information on how to contact CC and take some positive action.

    I'm celebrating this weekend!
