    I'm 100% convinced the 2 or 3 naysayers in here are close friends or on the payroll of the Dems that keep coming after our guns and ammo. I've said before and I'll say again:

     

    You think a "get out and vote" campaign will far more successful? Ok fine jump on board with the recall effort now and then we will all jump on the get out and vote campaign in a few months when the time is right for that. We all help each other and we will get control of our government back. If we keep staying divided and attacking the efforts of others actually trying to do something about this mess it's gonna be harder for all of us.

    Is the nj2as prepared to get poll monitors? Do they have a plan? Do they even know how to appoint poll monitors?

    This is why they need a strong candidate BEFORE the crap

    Become part of the planning. You naysayers are like the French who just let the Germans take over without even putting up a fight. You're the "non Patriots" during the Revolutionary war. When the pro2A people of Jersey really need you to roll up your sleeves, hit the pavement with us and help us fight these increasingly tyrannical politicians, instead of using your ultra intelligence to help us, you're gonna sit there say all the things we "should've done" what "might've worked" what "will never work". Start trying to find a pro2A replacement to run against him then if that's what's so dear to you before you'll join the effort. Start trying to organize "poll monitors" if that's something that will be needed. Don't just sit on your ass and pontificate about how bad we will fail and how triumphant you will feel when you get to say "told you so". Do what you can to help this be successful.

    Hi Kevin I don't believe we've exchanged posts before.

     

    Real conservatives can't win almost anywhere. For every compelling issue we raise the other side has a catchy slogan or slur that resonates with voters.

    And for every Debbie downer like you that won't pitch in and help he's a little more secure in that seat. Instead, though, if we get all of you to help, we can unseat him and send a message to the rest!!

    1. 160 days to get 25% of district's voters to sign a petition

    2. Recall election scheduled, held

    3. If recall fails brace yourself for spiteful 2017 legislation

    4. If recall succeeds Sweeney is very likely to win the recall election given his margins of victory the last few times

    5. If recall succeeds and Sweeney loses the recall election 1) he doesn't necessarily go away, 2) a democrat is likely to win the election to replace him and 3) we will likely get a democrat senate prez who's far worse.

     

    These are the likely scenarios. If anyone can come up with anything more reasonable let's see it. Think it through, don't just call me names.

     

    Bottom line: You wanna waste your time for these likely outcomes go right ahead.

     

    Note: My estimate of eight months for the entire process was a very good guess.

    Pessimistic much? How about a scenario where he loses and another Dem wins ...but this time they say "whew! That was close! Let's stop fckn with the 2nd amendment and just focus on emptying the coffers."

     

    And then we go after them again til they do what WE want?

     

    Or is it really better that we beg for scraps on the floor next to the table like we have been just so that we don't piss off an elected official? How's that working out for us?

    It's great to see more of us coming together and locking shields on one front in this battle! I can't wait to get Sweeney recalled because then our next target will be that much easier to attack once the doubting Thomas's see that by joining together we CAN make a difference! To the two guys telling us we're wasting our time: come waste time with us and then the next target will very well likely be voting in Republican legislators and we will join with you on that!!

    Please stop with the negativity. IF this effort fails it's the fault of everyone of you reading this and not pitching in to help. If you haven't already, please go listen to the last episode of GFH Radio and you'll see why all your arguments against this effort are invalid. We really need everyone's help here. Where we (all of us) will "be" if this effort fails is in a far worse place than we are now. So complain about NJ2AR for poking the bear with a stick if you want, but he's coming after all of us now. So we have no choice but to unite against him. If you don't then you choose your fate.

    Ryan thank you for the update! My kids have some "retreat" thing for CCW that might jam me up and prevent me from making it. IF I can, can we all bring long guns? Just to thumb our nose at the grabbers since if we have FIDs it's totally legal. Maybe not this time but eventually I say we so that! Everyone bring a long gun ...don't even bring ammo. Lol

    I have that "Optimum" thing that will automatically join my phone to any Optimum wifi spots and sometimes I have to turn wifi off in public because it's WAY slower than my LTE. And I should also mention that I own my iPhone 5S (was a going away present from my previous employer that let me go in 2013 right after giving me the phone) and I use Metro PCS. My plan is unlimited talk/text and 4GB of 4G LTE for an even $50 per month. I'm pretty pleased with it. I have as Verizon HTC through my current employer and I just keep it on hotspot most of the time with my phone connected to it so I don't use up my Metro PCS data. But even if I DO go over the 4GB of LTE they won't charge me any more than $50. They just dial my speed back to 3G.
