    I don't hear any argument from the current and former NHL players. All of them seem to agree he is the best player in the game right now.

     

    And for all the "crybaby" crap that people always spit out, you would all wet yourselves if you had a player with his skills on your team.

    I'd rather have Stamkos.

    Whoever wins the Habs Bruins series is going to the cup. Pens are too soft. And how the Flyers played in game 6 is how the Bruins always play. The Habs are just too fast and skilled. Flyers Pens would have been great tv though. And yes, Flyers would have lost to the Habs or Bruins too.

    I'm sure if you talked to your local legislators they would be more than willing to help you ban the scary black thing you are so afraid of from the city limits. Or, you could research how to keep the bear away from your house. And instead of blindly killing it, you could make sure other people as well as yourself know what to do when a bass is around and to call fish and game to help catch it so it can be released in a different area.

    I don't know if I agree with that. The flyers had a bunch of (bullshit IMO) power plays on the first 30 mins and they were disjointed. The NYR pp's were equally terrible save for the one (bull shit) called off goal. Its very hard to generate momentum when the zebras are calling crap.

    The one thing about the refs, they've been terrible in every series. The Wild got hosed last night thanks to a missed holding call and a botched offsides call that lead directly to the Avs tying it.

    Great game by the Rangers.

    As a Flyers fan and a hockey fan, this series sucks. Seems like both teams are skating through mud most of the game and then there's about 10 minutes off actual hockey in the entire game. Seems like both teams are playing not to lose.

    As someone that graduated public high school 6 years ago, what everyone is saying is all too true. I didn't do "homework" from middle school till I graduated. I passed every grade solely on test scores, because that's all schools care about now. They don't care how much you know, only how much you memorized. And once they realized too many kids weren't "testing well" they dumbed everything down so that everyone could pass. Meaning stupid people found success when they shouldn't have and smart people weren't challenged. This process doesn't reward intelligence and motivation. It rewards laziness and ignorance.

    Why should he retire if he is still playing the way he is? If I were him I would sign an extension and be mentor and back so he can make Schneider a better goal tender.

    Why waste a roster spot for him to be a goalie coach? His style of goaltending has become a hindrance to the team. Of course every player wants to go out on a blaze of glory, but he'll be nothing but a back up that never plays if he goes past this season.

    Let's remember this old timer almost won us another cup 2 years ago. And he can still outplay most goaltenders in the league.

    Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Michael Leighton "almost" won a cup for the Flyers. He's playing in Europe now. Blodeur should just retire. Although I will miss razzing him at games.

    I think it's great that groups like ANJRPC and NJ2AS are doing things like this. But in reality, all they are accomplishing is insisting that the state adhere to the rules they have set for the draconian restrictions that they have placed on us; while the antis continue to tighten the noose with ever-increasing infringements. Even if the legislature only pushes through a couple of new anti-2A laws a year, more rights are taken away, and few, if any, are ever given back.

    Would you rather we all sit idly by and allow them to abuse the system they put in place while we quietly suffer? Or should we raise Hell and go down swinging, kicking, and screaming?
