    I have lived in NJ for 25 years and there has been one major hurricane and that makes it a dangerous place to live? Makes no sense to me, the county I grew up in MI had a lot of tornadoes and a ton of winter storms. In fact My dad was killed in one of the winters storms out there, automotive accident.

    I was in the Walmart near Hershey Park this past weekend. Bought 7 bricks, 2 525rd Remington Golden Bullets, 2 Federal 550rd, and 3 Federal 525rd....no limit, no ID, no anything. Just paid and left. I asked if he needed to see my NJ FID and he looked at me like I had 2 heads! God I wish I lived in Free America!!!

    Nice man, I was out in Lancaster pa this past weekend and picked up a pellet gun in Walmart. My wife asked me if how long it would take and I told no time at all in free America.

    Signed up for the 9/7 class at Clinton/Hampton.

     

    HBecwithFn7 - did you take the class yet?  How was the field walk?  Worth it or should I pay the $25 to do it online and skip it?  I intend to only go with an experienced hunter(s) my first few hunts.

     

    So all the study material is online.  Read it, watch it, etc and complete the workbook.  Bring work book with you and take test and show you know how to use a shotgun.  After you pass everything what happens?  They give you a certificate and you take certificate to a designated place/retailer to purchase license?

    I did the field walk this past weekend and I thought it was worth it. The test was pretty easy a lot of common sense stuff and if you watched the video and did the workbook you should pass no problem.
