  1. Thanks ken. Everyone here has bee great. That list is getting long. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks all for the feedback. A forum member private messages me and have me some guidance. I ordered rcbs single stage kit under his recommendation as well as reviews I read. I'm gonna read up on the book and if I have any more questions it seems like plenty of ppl here willing to give feedback. Thanks again! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Carl: looking to take it up as a hobby. Seems like it would be fun and a nice way to grow a fun hobby. I'd like to reload pistol and rifle. Currently have a 40 cal but I'd like to get a 9mm and a rifle down the road. I think I wanna start off with single stage ubtil I get more comfortable Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks sigfan. I'm already seeing that people here are very helpful and friendly. I've been reading the forum and the manuals are a good idea as I don't know all the terms. I still would like a class bc I'm more of a hands on learner than a reader but the manuals would be a good place to start. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah. Jim Flynn is the one. I think I might take you up on the offer to shoot one of these weeks. And I saw your reply on my other post for reloading classes......I'm looking for pistol and rifle reload classes.
  6. I stopped by EFGA on sunday to see it. I'm a member at heritage guild and it was like ten minutes away. I liked the range and the people there were very friendly so I'm gonna stop by the gun shop in Clinton to get a membership. I don't remember the name of the place but its attached to a truck repair station I think.
  7. I wish Rays was back. I doubt its coming back as he sold it to the Nissan dealership and its now a parking lot. Only options to shoot are all 40+ minutes away.
  8. Got it heavyopp. Not discouraged, actually the opposite. I wasn't expecting all these responses. I understand your point about inviting people over, its more of a interpersonal experience that would require a bit more of a relationship than a buisiness transaction. Your adivce is solid. thanks
  9. The wait was around 6 months. Got no response and nothing but attitude from the desk. Finally, through a friend, I got the chief of police involved and magically it was done a week later.
  10. OK. Thanks Heavyopp. I will put some time in here and try to pop in to the events. Just to be clear, I'm not looking for "favors" or charity, lol. I would pay a reasonable fee to be taught by an experienced reloader. I guess I dont do a very good job of communiating via forum. Either way, thanks all that are responding. This forum seems very active and a place to get tons of good info and shooting buddies.
  11. Thanks Damjan and junkmanted, I saw those courses during my searches. I was just wondering if anyone here recommended any specific class or instructor over another or if anyone on this forum did private lessons. I guess I could've been more clear.
  12. Hi new member here from North Plainfield. I've been browsing the site and finally decided to jump in and join the forum. Been shooting for a little over a year now, and have a Ruger SR40 now, but looking to expand in the future.
  13. Hi, I'm new here to the board, and have recently become interested in reloading. Anyone have any experience with a reloading class in Central NJ (North Plainfield). I saw heritage guild offered one, but only on some saturdays and unfortuneately saturdays don't work that well for me. Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated. thanks
  14. Hi I'm a new member of this forum that is interested in a private reloading class. I've been shooting for a little over a year now and have recently become interested in reloading. The reason for a private class is that I would feel more comfortable in a one on one setting rather than a class setting as I have no experience in this. I also have a few friends interested in this so maybe it can be a small private group. thanks
