  1. Selling a gently used S& 686 Performance Center .357 Magnum revolver with a 4" barrel.

    SKU is 11759

I bought this a few years ago have shot about 100 rounds through this. It's been 'greased up' with EWG for storage.

Comes with 3x HKS speed-loaders, original box and S&W 'key'.

Willing to drop off at any FFL in Union county or within reasonable distance.

    Price $900 cash OBO.

I have spent Lake city brass, also have Wolf brass, basically my range pickups.  Its used and would need to be re-processed but solid and useable. Haven't seen any new brass anywhere.

Thanks for your response. I'm sorry, I should have been worded my post correctly. I was looking for factory fresh ammunition and not remanufactured / reloaded ammo.

Re-reading my post now, it does sound like I'm only looking for brass :)

    I'll fix it.

It has nothing to do with how political I am. I'm just as upset about our restrictions as anyone else but I'm not gonna fight it by illegally possessing mags over 15. I fight the best I can by donating to 2A groups here as well as voting.

I don't understand what my pistol mags have to do with your children's rights. And alienating any shooter, or as you put it, pushing one to quit the hobby entirely, will only hurt your little revolution.

Pretty crazy how I post one simple question and quickly get attacked by some anonymous nut job for trying to keep my mags at 15

2 years ago I got a GREAT deal with 2x 18rnd mags. I had those shipped over to Steve who didn't charge an arm and a leg for the pinning. A few months later i stumbled across another good deal for 10 round mags for this gun bought 4 of those.

Since I only shoot this at the range, the 10 rounders really don't bother me. I honestly don't see how that impedes my 2A rights or those of my kids.

Ultimately, It's your money and your decision, get the 10 if that makes sense to you. I don't think that your specific purchase will be used as an example to justify reducing the mag capacity in NJ.

  4. Hi,

I belive most vendors will ship the 18 rounders to NJ for pinning. However, when i was looking one or two refused to do so.

Get the 15 rounder, ypu can get rid of those and get 10 rounders IF and when that law is passed.

    Good luck

  5. Thanks Everyone for your insightful responses. I'm going to look at all the options provided here and do some research on these.

There was a question regarding my budget and what I aim to accomplish with this device. I'm hoping to stay under $50, but can spend up to $100 on this. I'm looking for something that reduces recoil. Aesthetics are important, but not as important as utility.

The Lantac Dragon's video looks pretty impressive. Does anyone have an opinion about the M4-72 Severe-Duty™ Compensator (http://precisionarmament.com/product/m4-72-tactical-compensator/).

Thanks again for all your suggestions!

  6. Hi All,

I'm working on my first AR build and had a few questions about Muzzle Devices.

    1. If I purchase a threaded barrel & a threaded muzzle device then can I still have them shipped to my house in NJ and then take to the gunsmith to get pinned? or should I err on the side of caution have them both shipped to the gunsmith?

    2. Is there a list of muzzle devices considered acceptable? I was interested in the VG6 Precision EPSILON 556, but their description "High Performance Muzzle Brake Flash Suppressing Type" leads me to believe this might be considered illegal in NJ. Would the Gamma 556 be considered legal in NJ (if pinned to the barrel)

    3. Can you recommend a few other NJ legal muzzle brakes/compensator that I could look and compare that?

Thanks in advance for your input.

  7. Careful with the CZ's. They grow on you fast. Started with. Accu-Shadow, loved it. So why not try a PCR, loved it. Then 97, loved it. Rami and P-09 that's 5 CZ's in a year. Almost a addiction. I need to stop applying for permits.

I hope I don't catch that bug, the Mrs will kick me out of the house!
