Long story short, I finally received my FID card and bought 3 firearms, I couldn't resist. The G43 and the Benelli SuperNova Tactical I am completely satisfied with. However, the M&P 15 Sport I am having second guessed myself. I want to change the crappy buttstock, the crappy pistol grip, the ugly plastic handguard, etc. I feel like I should just build my own at this point. I will eventually want a different upper (riffle length) too. There is just too much I want to change to justify replacing it all because I will have a completely different gun plus all of the stock parts to build my stock AR15 back up!
Just wanting to hear your opinions. Keep the M&P 15 and build one regardless? Try and sell it? But I will lose my shirt since I was full boated the price. I'm sure returns aren't possible on them even though I haven't even cleaned it yet. Any opinions? Or just stick with the M&P 15? This is just for fun at the range. No competitions at all. I like the idea of having a gun built the way I want it. Instead of modifying and spending twice what the gun initially cost.
