You may want to follow this thread: https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/where-are-reloading-components-available-these-days.707473/page-230
They have daly updates of reloading supplies availability around the web. I managed to score a 1000 box of Federal magnum LRP thanks to the linked discussion.

Apologies for the topic drift, but what’s wrong with NJ.com? I just get used that some articles require subscription, and now they want me to disable my add-blocker. I don’t think their marketing division is up to the task.

Just a gift idea: I bought my wife lady’s G-Shock for Christmas. Arrived yesterday in a nice metal box:

I know gun socks are legit, so yes, bag should be okay.

Hi from another Chester resident.

You have probably already thought of this, but with the current demand, I would also try local gun stores.
-
How this applies to air pistols purchased from another state, where air guns are not firearms and you can legally purchase them without a proof of residence?
-
If I understand correctly, you still need to have the firearm legally purchased, which is impossible in NJ without having FID or handgun paperwork.

Caliper, of course! I forgot this mandatory tool. Regarding the new Lee, the priming is still kinky. I’m using it with CC 7.62 military primers so far, but soon will try Federal.
While on the subject - https://reloadingunlimited.com/ has CC military LRP as of now. You may have to buy some powder to bundle with the primers to get trough the checkout.

And If you just want to try the taste, here are the essentials:
- Press (lee comes with priming arms).
- Full set of dies, or just shell-holder, sizing/depriming die and bullet siting die.
- Scale.
That’s it. I mean that and a lot of common sense and attention to detail.

Guys, where do you shop for reloading supplies?
Online I’m using https://reloadingunlimited.com and https://www.powdervalleyinc.com, but even they don’t have primers anymore. Some rifle bullets and powder ares still available though.
So I’m looking for local retailers in NJ or PA. Any advice?

Went today to Hackettstown to buy some .308. Nice place, friendlily staff...so they told me, that the situation with weapons gradually improves, but the situation with ammo is getting worse. I see myself dipping into the reloading game in near future.

They want money now - for everything even remotely interesting, subscription is required.

I would check with the local PD. Friend of mine made an impulsive air rifle purchase in NY. No FID, no knowledge of the regulation - zip. So I advised him to “surrender” himself to the locals, if doesn't want to spend the next two years with a roommate named Bubba.
The local police issued FID for him, and as his lot is 6 acres forest, gave him informal permission to shoot on his property.
So bottom line - if you live in a townhouse don’t shoot airgun in your backyard. Otherwise, ask your blue force.

I know, right! I live in the middle of Black River wildlife management area. Here, the state releases black bears catch on other areas. And not the most kind ones. I'm back in the food chain. The only thing between me becoming a little bell, is my rifle and my Bernese.

More than I expected. Nice and quiet(if you don't mind occasional gunshots ) place. Calm friendly people, half of the license plates from NJ, I feel a made the right choice.

it is recommended that you carry bear spray and wear a little bell when you're in bear country.
It is easy to tell black bear from grizzly bear poop. Black bear poop contains twigs and berries. Grizzly bear poop smells like bear spray and contains little bells.
