I have a kydex Inside waist band and I also have a crossbread iwb holster. Neither with a mag pouch. For the price I figured I would give it a shot and am happily surprised how low profile it stays and how convenient it is. No need for an additional mag pouch or one loose in the pocket.
The $25 for the 2018 commander is valid with coupon 2018COM. The %40 Valentine's Day coupon is a different one which is also a damn good deal on their other stuff. I'm going to be buying a belt.

Picked up a new holster for the XDS. Awesome deal at $25 bucks for a genuine leather holster. Fit is perfect and seems comfortable as can be! Didn't know if I would be a big fan of the back up mag portion but it is really unnoticeable while carrying.
Best deal I could find and for the price was blown away by the quality. Looking forward to using it. Check em out www.versacarry.com
And no, I don't have any affiliation with them. Truly think it's an awesome deal. The 2018 commander holsters are $25 bucks while they last! Coupon code is 2018COM

This case has been repeatedly distributed for conference but then rescheduled; last week was the first time that it was actually considered at the conference.

The Court has been giving most cases a second look before granting, so the fact that the case wasn't on this week's order list could mean (a) that someone is trying to pick up a fourth vote to grant cert.; (b) there are four votes but they want to do their due diligence; (c) they are denying but someone is writing a dissent or statement respecting the denial.

They likely will not contact your references. Pretty sure I haven't seen one person report otherwise.

Anyone see the article regarding Texas Republican U.S. Sen. John Cornyn and his plan to introduce another reciprocacy bill? Doesn't sound like that one would benefit NJ in any way though.

up to 152 co-sponsors. Still only 2 Dems.
Anyway - I cant figure out where I found it but some website gives this bill a 5% chance of getting to Prez Trumps desk. LOL. Them are some good odds. I am sure its not taking the current congressional situation in account and rather looking at the history of similar bills. Just found it funny. They could of at least given it a 7% chance.

Mr. Hudson sets the record straight on some of the recent articles written about his bill:

Most definitely and its not just you. Everyone is so ready to armchair quarterback everything. From before the election to this day. Everyone tries to find reasons to either knock the guy or say something won't work.
He has made good on everything he said so far. The NRA spent a ton of money on this guy. Think it is going to be a wasteful effort? Will there be some changes, possibly. But we clamor like butt heads over stuff unknown to us yet. I wish for one minute that people would take a step back and give the guy a fooking chance. When people here talk like this, how different are we than the 'talking heads' we see all too often on TV? Everybody is a fooking expert.
Take a step back and breeeeeath! Time will tell. One way or another, we are much better off now than before or what could have been. Wanna expend your energy? Come up with ideas and ways we can piss in the Dems ears and leave the rest up to the experts. Because they are driving my BP over the line. Nothing else. [emoji6]

lol..Im breathing. Def dont think I am anything close to an expert. Just voicing my opinion.
Not knocking him personally at all. And I am giving him a chance. I voted for the guy. All I am saying is as far as gun rights go....I have to believe it was more of a strategic move on his part, not a personal one. If the NRA wrote those checks out to my campaign, I'd hop on board too! I hope to be wrong, but as far as this bill goes, I'll keep breathing There's going to be WAY too much opposition.

Different opinion?

Thanks M1!
To be honest, I believe Trump played into the 2A crowd strictly to secure their votes, and nothing more. I dont think he truly expects to secure national concealed carry. If it happens, I am sure he'll sign it. But I'd argue that he doesn't really expect a bill to make to his desk at all, nor does he likely care. I doubt we hear mention of it out of his mouth again- until he's up for re-election. Hes a lot smarter than he sounds.
I'd love to be wrong, but I dont think this gets us anywhere.

So forgive my lack of understanding - but the next step for H.R. 38 is? Right now its sitting in sub-committee. Technically it could sit there and die, correct? Not saying it will...but lets say the committee decides to put it through to the next step....How do they come to that conclusion? A vote?
PS - Its up to 147 co-sponsors now. Still only 2 dems.
-
Hardiman was prob a better bet for the 2A crowd, no? What I've read stated that this guy hasn't really spoken about him rights before and no one really knows where he stands. Correct?

Well according to the Huffington Post (which is a crap gossip column if you ask me) - The potential reality of National concealed carry is as good as gone due to the recent 4th circuit ruling. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/the-nras-concealed-carry-dream-takes-a-hit-in-court_us_5890caa9e4b02772c4e992d5
My question that I cannot quickly determine by the biased news articles - Was Robinson legally carrying a concealed weapon? Or was he indeed a "felon" and therefore not supposed to even own a firearm, let alone carry one?
How quickly is this appealed? Likely to have an effect on H.R. 38? Personally I dont think the bill will ever get to Trumps desk. I know most of you are more optimistic.

My wife was having trouble with both of my springfields (9 and 45). So I told her focus on just holding the slide stationary with her left hand and instead push the frame (grip) forward while holding the slide. Not exactly sure why or how, but it makes it TONS easier on her. She is almost physically unable to rack it by pulling the slide back. But by pushing the frame forward and simply holding the slide stationary, she can rack it easily every time.
Give it a shot.

Here's a list of supporters. It list's 3 from NJ.

negative - your looking at the bill from the 114th congress (2015).
THIS is the current bill - https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/38/committees

I assume you guys are speaking of the 3.3"? I have a 3.3 9mm and the guide rod protrudes just a hair further than the end of the barrel. On my 4.0 45acp, the guide rod is barely visible down in the frame as it looks to be the same length as the one in my 9.

Honestly dont expect anything. Its been a difficult year (as have the past few). Add to it the fact that catching steelhead on the swing is a low numbers game to begin with....It will be nice to just be on the river for a couple hours spey casting. Hopefully I can drag Dad out for a few casts. Would be magical to get him his first steelhead on xmas eve.

I'll be swinging spey flies on the Salmon Christmas Eve morning for a couple hours. Nothin better.

Sorry for the delay - Thanks for the offer but way out of my price range. I dont use it often enough to justify a rig that expensive.
