    Does this apply to existing NJ FID holders? Or does one still need to renew our current FID card 4 years from today?

    One option is Zanotti Armor. Their safes come on a pallet, and you can carry one piece at a time to your location and assemble it.

    I have done this, and IMO they're worth the money. They are not T--15 or T-30 rated, but they have more steel in the door and body than most of what you will find in stores.

    Zanotti is an interesting option. Do Call how much shipping was to New Jersey from IowaCall how much shipping wise to New Jersey from Iowa?  Was each piece manageable to carry it for two people up a staircase? I’m looking at the Z1, which is 350lbs.

    Looking to buy a safe to store my stuff. It will go upstairs And there’s hardwood floors everywhere.  So I’m looking for a place with reputable top notch delivery people. I looked at Wayfair but I don’t trust them hauling 300+lbs up a staircase with a landing. I’m in Bergen County/Rockland Co border.

    Just called a local FFL to ask about a rifle I ordered but they said that the NICS power has been out and there’s a verification back up for days. They told me to come in and get into the que. First time I’ve encountered this as all of my previous verifications took under 5 min. Is this business as usual?

    I'm so confused. .... why are folks wiping shelves clean of things that are about to be banned.
     
    You are not going to get grandfathered. ...not gonna happen.
    That being said I am all for getting it while you can....but you gotta ask yourself - do you know what you are doing?

    People I talk to are convinced that we will get grand fathered in. They won’t be going door to door tomorrow millions of homes, at least not yet.
    I grew up in a communist regime, I just can’t believe these hipsters don’t see it.

    WHY would sale or transfer render them useless on the range? sale or transfer simply means you can't buy one, nor can you transfer one to a relative or friend. possession would render useless on the range.


    Seems logical that if it’s illegal to buy one it should be illegal to use one, regardless of what the bill says. It’s prolly vague on purpose.

    What does NYs law say? Does it mention sale because all the guys are using fish man rifles on the range.

    You guys are mixing bills... that link for the semi-automatic ban is house democrats in washington... not specific to jersey and murphy boy. so a country wide ban.  If somehow that ever passed and was signed into law we would all have to go set up elsewhere.   Perhaps we pool our money and buy ourselves a nice caribbean island and start our own country.


    I’m pretty sure NJs bill prohibits sale, transfer of semis, which renders them useless on the range or in the home. Now if the shit hits the fan then it’s a whole another story. Could happen, everyone is nuke happy.
