Tedesco said he was employed by the Miami Fire Department and was on his way to a fire in the city, according to the sebastiandaily.comreport…..

The deputy said he contacted the Miami FD and learned that Tedesco no longer worked for the department, having medically retired three years ago, the newspaper reported.

Tedesco eventually admitted that he no longer was with the department, was headed to Miami to go fishing and lied because he was afraid, the deputy was quoted as saying.

He WAS with the NYFD when he lived in this neck of the woods.

Maybe I need hooked on phonics, title says impersonating a police officer the story said he said he was a fireman which the sheriffs department verified he wasn’t just because he has a NYPD jacket and DEA hat in his car doesn’t mean he’s impersonating anyone…. I’m not sure about Florida but other parts of the country I’ve seen fire departments use both red and blue lights…They sell those hats and jackets all over lol….

As for the rifles in his car unless they were loaded and in the passenger compartment don’t see a problem up until the possession of marijuana…not driving 95 is more uncommon down here I’ve been in the north fl/ga area for the last several months and at 75-80 in a blacked out Tahoe it’s like im driving ms daisy with people blowing by me with 0 cares swerving in and out of traffic like idiots

daddy will no doubt make it all or nearly all go away. Lower level hunter Biden lol

    He was with the NYFD.

Not only does he have daddy’s connections, but he married into money. He’s got nothing to worry about. Driving 95mph to get to his fishing hole or to shoot critters in the swamps festooned in battle gear. I don’t see a problem here.

  4. I expect a reaction like this from the representatives of this state should SCOTUS see the light.

“This legislation,” the letter states, “is a dangerous encroachment on individual state efforts to protect public safety, and it would effectively nullify duly enacted state laws and hamper law enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence.”

From the article below concerning National Reciprocity some years ago.

Sweeney getting ousted puts the other Democrats on notice - you can be replaced.

Democrats outnumber registered Republicans in this state something like 2-1.

I don’t foresee positive changes in the future

Murphy is accomplishing what he set out to do; make New Jersey California.

When o when did Sweeney become a champion of 2a rights? Was I asleep when this happened? What insane gun control legislation did Sweeney prevent! Nothing! NOT A GODAMN THING! They wanted a magazine ban on 15 rounds and they got it! They wanted to ban so-called ghost guns and they got it! They wanted all that red-flaw law/TERPO crap passed and that got that too! At what point did Steve Sweeney become this great obstacle to Murphy's continued campaign against NJ's gun owners? We removed one of the most powerful Democrat elites in NJ, there is nothing "moronic" about that.

Sweeney was never a champion of 2A, but he did align with sportsmen in the state. Did you forget that the NJOA (New Jersey Outdoor Alliance) endorsed him for years? Because of this the NRA contributed a small amount to his campaign fund whenever he ran for re-election? And the NRA endorsed him!

Politics is a deceptively ugly business at times.

Morons that voted for someone with zero experience to replace the one person that was able to stop Murphy, and has consistently stopped Murphy. Only hope now is SCOTUS decision on NY Case is so broad and monumental that it basically makes all laws that restrict the ownership of firearms unconstitutional as the Constitution states shall not be infringed,

Sweeney didn’t like Murphy. He also had the ability to pick and choose what crossed his desk to be signed. If you want to believe that some truck driver came out of nowhere and stole his seat that’s okay.

If someone like Scutari assumes Sweeney’s role, things may not go well. He’s sponsored a lot of anti-gun legislation that never saw light. Let’s see what happens now.

It depends on the gun.  My 1971 Marlin 39D can be dry fired, but earlier 39s should not.  I do not recall the details, but it has something to do with the mechanics of the firing pin.  Newer 22s have a firing pin stop to prevent peening.

If in doubt, there's always snap caps.

I think Marlin modified the firing pin tip in 1972.

    Lol. Reread what i wrote.

I did. I liked your post.

While the internet is full of speculation, Kalashnikov never admitted to such when pressed for comment. I can’t imagine a Russian admitting they copied something from an American. It’s no secret that many design features were copied throughout firearm history. However, very few rifles used a long recoil, rotating bolt system like Browning’s Model 8.

The Soviet AS-44 had a similar safety switch, a weapon design that came before MK’s AK.

  10. “We have to work to get them out, just as y'all got rid of Sweeney.”

Let’s not get too excited over this. Remember at one time the NRA endorsed Sweeney; that’s how bad things were. And it was Sweeney who had the final say in what crossed Murphy’s desk.

Word has it Nicholas Scutari will be the next Senate president. He was a sponsor of the ghost gun bill here, and also wanted .50 cal. guns banned when Christie was Gov.

How does the future look now?

Went to the Arsenal gun shop with a 50/50 Reverse Flash can which is nothing more than a linear compensator. Its a tube with threads in the middle that really is nothing more than for looks. At most all it does is push the gas out in front of the shooter. It does not quiet the sound or anything like that. I did my NICS and they called me the gun work was done as well. I walk out and they have their own muzzle break pin and welded to my ar-15  Sig m400. You would figure they would call and let me know instead of just putting their own item on there. Cost to pin the stock and take off the flash hider and then put on their own muzzle brake was 155 dollars.

Just because they never saw a reverse flash can before. Now is it even worth paying someone to drill out the muzzle brake just to put on the flash can? Or better off with a muzzle brake anyway?

It says “flash” on the product description so it won’t pass muster with the NJSP and muzzle orifice is larger than bullet diameter so the gunsmith covered their shop but should have alerted you before they made the change.
