I don't know this guy from Adam so I have no axe to grind beyond "safety" and none of what he was doing can be construed as safe. His finger was in and out of the trigger guard with the safety both on and off several times and it was CLEAR to me that he was violating a basic safety rule WHILE he knew the gun was loaded.

You have a very short window in which to appeal. Don't screw around. Get a lawyer.

Bullshit. Cause anchor babies.Maybe this should be the topic of another thread. But one must have two US citizen parents at time of birth in order to be "a natural born citizen". Cruz's father was a Cuban National.

What is your criticism of ANJRPC?
There are multiple threads on this topic. Please feel free to do a search. They are NOT a No-Compromise organization, period. You can hear that clearly in Gun For Hire Radio Podcast #240.

Cruz is ineligible to be President. He also is not a strict Constitutionalist.
He is not ineligible. This has been proven multiple times. Which candidate IS a strict Constitutionalist?

This actually makes the most sense. I forgot about the amperage conversion.
Mipa, I already know about the differences in battery types. This unit is supposed to have a deep cycle battery as it is advertised not only as a jump box but also as a backup power source. Though I do admit, I may have damaged something by such a deep discharge. it got down to 11V before the inverter gave up. The unit is only two years old and was never discharged much below 13V before it was recharged.
I think my next step is to visit the marine supply store and pick up a couple of 12VDC fluorescent lamps. No sense in letting energy get wasted by the inverter.
There are 12 V LED's available. I'd go for those over Fluorescent any day.

Depends. Some use coffee cans, some use baby food jars. I went to akro type bins though I still have a dishpan full of odd bolts and nuts that I usually start my "wtf is a bolt to fit this" search.
I have a coffee can for hose clamps despite having the akro bins.

There are police trade in Cz's out there for not much more than a HiPoint.
People hate on HiPoint - their carbines are ugly but functional and decent. It's no Beretta but then I didn't pay Beretta prices...
As far as their handguns, apparently they go bang regularly and they have a lifetime warranty. They seem to be very top heavy, are IMO ugly, and have a high bore axis. I personally would not waste a pistol permit on one but you could do far worse (ie Jennings or many of the other totally crap saturday night specials that are out there).

Very interesting and passionate topic, great reading. But some things are inaccurate and require a little clarification.
As an FFL no 4473 or background check required to transfer a firearm from inventory to personal inventory (Correct)
OGAM no longer applies (INCORRECT). I am subject to one gun a month just like everyone else to personally own handgun in my inventory.
Hi Cap Mags (INCORRECT) I can possess them, sell them out of state etc, but cannot take them and put them in my personal firearm and use them to shoot a match at the range.
So no background check required is technically correct however in NJ when I transfer a handgun from inventory to my personal inventory I also need a NJ Permit just like everyone else. And in obtaining that permit I need to complete the State Police forms just like everyone else which in this state means I am subject to a background check.
Just for clarification New Jersey FFL's are subject to almost the exact same rules (except 4473's) as everyone else in the state when we want to buy our own personal firearm. Never made much sense but neither does any of the other firearm laws. Bad guys still get guns easier, cheaper and faster than any of us do.
NEVER did I say that you could put these in your "personal collection"...

Does this stay flexible over time and what are its advantage over the fire caulk?
No idea - I would have to read the application instructions. Generally, commercial fire caulks are designed to expand in fire situations to ensure that they continue to seal the opening preventing the entrance of fire for a specific period of time.
-
The fire caulk you linked to is a residential fire caulk. I'd recommend this instead.
-
Hmm - sell too many, need an FFL. Ok - apply to be an FFL, guess what - Once an FFL, no longer need background checks for each gun purchased, OGAM no longer applies, hi cap mags - ok... Is this REALLY what he wants?
-
It's the same thing we want Christie to do with justifiable need.
Keep that in mind
No it's not. Justifiable need is not defined within the law as it currently stands. The law currently says "good cause". The judges have deciphered that with the help of the AG to mean no one.

I want asking if they separate the lead ones. But if they all have unusable wheel weights at all. The place I went to said that they use all the ones they have and don't dispose of any. It could be he was just trying to get me to leave ....
When I worked in a tire shop I regularly re-used weights that I had previously taken off someone else's wheels. I checked the balance after applying them regardless of whether the weights were new or used. As a result we didn't have the bucket of taken off weights - and this was back a few decades ago. Now I understand most shops use some sort of Zinc weights making this source much less reliable than previous in any case.
I have been told that if I were interested in buying scrap lead I should check out a scrap dealer as they'll probably have a very good price.

Gus:
Thank you. I will figure out how to apply for a 2016 WMA license, specifically for the shooting clays option.
AVB-AMG
There is no WMA license. There's simply a hunting license. In order to get the hunting license you need to have successfully passed a hunter education course. Let us know if you need more detail and someone will certainly pipe up with the procedure to get you "hunter ed certified".

I'd use a drill with a bit slightly larger than the end of the barrel

Do you own a drill?

I have this:
https://www.niteize.com/product/Lite-Holster-Stretch.asp
I find it challenging to just "slip" the light into the holster - it takes a little more effort. But the price is good and it holds the light damn well.

Find a buddy who just got a construction debris dumpster is another option - throw him a few bucks.

My town allows for extensions, its pretty easy, but they won't let you file more than 3 permits unless your filing for ogam exemption. I didn't find a big issue over it considering they get permits done fast and will let you do more than 3 if your filing an exemption. I think they got anoyed that people kept coming in to extend permits 3 at a time and he said the other option was to deny extensions.
It's not legal to limit. Period. If I want 1000, and want to pay the $2 a piece, they can't limit you. Yes, I understand, they don't have to renew them, but they can't limit them.

PB - it's a tenth of an inch longer than 300 win mag

Press ConsiderationsNothing special needed here. The 338 Lapua Magnum can be reloaded in pretty much any standard press. Below, I have images of the 338 Lapua in a LEE Challenger and LEE Turret Press Classic Cast for comparison. As you can see from the images, they’re both just fine.

I don't understand that excuse. An anonymous tip could have called in.

Previous town is supposed to forward all your records which include a copy of all pistol permits filed with them...
