    The loads that cowboy action shooters use are very low powered with no recoil.  The 44mag in a single action will recoil strongly with 44 magnum loads.  I have two Ruger SBH in 44 magnum and they are a handful compared to the 38/357.  45LC is really easy to shoot compared to the 44 mag.

     

    44 special however is a total joy to shoot in a SBH

    Folks, let's play nice. I just needed some assistance with stats.

     

    I have found in my relatively short time as a firearms apologist that getting confrontational is useless. I just want to be able to combat rhetoric with facts.

    Because those who spout rhetoric will be convinced with logic and facts?  This would be the... errr... first time that would have worked.

    When they're done, you add a treatment so it doesn't happen again. Just have to be sure the back flow prevention device is working.

     

    Solid advice.  Also make sure that you have no leaks (some systems have piping buried in concrete...) cause constantly adding fresh water will also contribute to excess scaling.

     

    The boiler flush company will be able to tell you whether their chemicals are compatible.

    Old thread, I know, but we went cheap on a resin HD tub/enclosure and we hate it. Research the units before buying cheap.

     

    My advice would have been to do the best looking renovation you could afford, particularly when it comes to baths and kitchens.  These are the two primary areas in the house that a woman is looking for.

    I go up on the roof w/ a leaf blower once every few months to clean them out.

    This here too.  And I check my roof while I am up there.  In my experience this is the fastest method.  Yes, it just throws the stuff onto the ground and I need to get a rake and clean it up but it's much faster than scooping and at least I stay clean during the exercise.

    You're the third person who's mentioned this. Can you provide a link?

    1) links don't exist to everything. You're old enough to know this.

    2) you've heard from multiple sources, let my voice be an additional "I know someone committed suicide at BH."

    3) I'd like to ask Mr Cerca what prevents someone from bringing a friend to his range who could easily commit suicide with his buddies gun?
