  1. Only if you're a tactical operator sneaking up on your target.

I'd be very careful forcing in improperly sized reloads.

Exactly my point. If you aren't using it for the tactical operation and it's a poor tool to force ammo into place, what purpose does it serve?

  2. Assume that I have 16 links in total. You can in a matter of seconds link them all together.

The fact that I have them currently setup in a configuration that is no more than 15 doesn't matter since at any time, without tools, I could make a 16 round feeding device.

My point is that the law is dumb as a bag of hammers.

  3. Yes. But they will hold 17 rounds of 9mm and function in a glock 17 or work with a 9mm conversion barrel

So the argument is that if I take any magazine I own and Jam another caliber into another than the one one marked on it and it feeds in a gun it wasn't designed for, I'm in possession of a large capacity feeding device? By that logic, I should never have more than 15 ammo links in my house at a time.

  4. Hi everyone! I just got my Fid a few weeks ago and just a few days ago i purchased my first 9mm handgun ( Springfield XD-9 mod2) and just yesterday was my first time at the range and had a good time... Now my question is what brand of 9mm ammo you guys suggest that are a good quality but also cheap enough to go to the rage more often? And where can i buy it from? Lol sinse it was my first time at the range i spend over 90 bucks for 150 bullets.

What were you shooting that you spent $90 on 150 rounds of 9mm? Does your figure include range time?

Gun for hire was selling 9mm target ammo for about $15-$20 a box of 50 depending on if you were a range member or not.

$30 for 50 rounds of 9mm better be match hardball or a personal protection round.

    Target 9mm I recommend include

    Speer lawman

    Federal champion / American eagle

    PMC bronze

Look for a full metal jacket round nosed bullet. You don't need to pay a premium to punch paper holes.

  5. Thank you all for the input.

The reason I asked is that I want to teach my kid shooting and I want to do it in a legal way. My kid is 7, but Cherry Ridge range only allows 10 and up.

    What are my other options?

Gun for hire allows kids age 8 and up to shoot rifles with parent supervsion. Some of the private clubs have in the past had junior leagues for kids as young as 6. Look around. Others have your problem too and have solved it.

  6. I can tell you as a buyer of a used car private sale, getting a loan is a minor hassle. As the seller you should be prepared with copies of the title and registration, or letters certifying the mileage.

It can be done and I wish you luck.
