Im almost always in for some paintball.

I made it out late, did an hour on the K98 and the M1. Was a good time. Hope you guys made it to Mastoris okay!

Im going to try to make it out there tomorrow morning, I will re-join. I really should have no excuse, I am most likely the closest one to the range I live about 5 minutes from there.

This sounds like a fun event...I think I may have to make it out. Ive only put 8 rounds through the Garand so far....sounds like a good time to learn it

Okay.... that local lake has to be Assunpink..... Stone Tavern.....all the way in the backby the dam.
Been there, but no. It does look like it however. My second largest LargeMouth to date came from Assunpink. (6.5 lbs at the main lake) Unfortunately Stone Tavern has only given up a biggest of maybe 3.5 lbs to me. I do not have much luck there.
I almost got a new personal record for LargeMouth on Sunday. My buddy, myself, and another person who was just randomly fishing there who also saw the fight all estimate somewhere in the 8-9lb range. I was shocked, but more ticked off when it broke the line off. Its what I get for borrowing my buddies fishing rod who uses 5lb test

Nags Head / Kill Devil is just a zoo. Like said before...go down further south. I just got back from Salvo a few weeks ago, great time...but I have been going there for 10 years now. I think next year i'll be headed back up to Vermont / Maine.

congrats Chris!

I just bought the same safe from tractor supply, only a few small things different. However, I love it. Was perfect for me, and my slowly growing collection.

Depending how I fare tomorrow night (friends taking me out for my bday) I may be in for some more shooting. I plan on shooting the M1 tomorrow for the first time.

However: I'm tired of my car hobby (I have sold off one car and about 65% of my parts...I think the Chevelle will be sold this upcoming spring), and Fishing just pisses me off lately.
WHY??
I honestly wish I knew. I just have come to the realization that I spent my teen years, and early 20's working on it almost non stop, pouring most of every dollar I made into it, and all it does is make me angry now. Right now its sitting under over a year of dust and debris inside the barn. I start it every once in a while, to keep it running so if I decide to sell, I wont have that as an issue.
I spent all fall and winter last year getting a truck in working condition so I could have a Daily Driver, and I think I burnt myself out when it came to working on cars in general.

Im at two...
1) AR-15
2) M1 Garand
as of right now, the only other addition I plan is a 1911.

Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers
I got home early from a mini-vacay / wedding I was down at in Maryland, so I could spend the evening with mine.

If you asked me this last summer, it would have been:
1) Cars (drag racing, off-roading, cruising)
2) Fishing
3) Shooting

I left two spaces since I would probably make two other excuses before I even went down to look at my car.

I would be cautious....had similar stuff happen here, others in the area said the same thing, and there have been a few break-ins around the area.

Very sad. My father works for the NJSP and had to rush to the scene. Very very sad.

Eh, the yards I go to have classic Iron, not much new stuff...and a BMW...forget it
**Ninja Edit**
Try these guys, local to me, and I know they may have what you need...if not possibly can locate it.

Blacey's U-Pick
Wrightstown, NJ
Blaceys is a joke. I live around the corner from it. What are you looking for? I frequent many junkyards.

Pete, your dog looks scarily identical to my Golden. We had to put him down about 2 and a half years ago, still kills me to think about it.
Ive got a pit/boxer that weighs about 87 lbs. He is a mush, but when he does not like what is going on, or he fears that one of the family (or even family friends) are in danger....ya don't want to piss him off. Ive seen him in "pissed off mode" twice since I adopted him, on both occasions the individuals in question that were on our property left VERY fast.
Lasik, FTW!

Glad it worked out well for you, I think this coming year will be the year I get it though. 20/15 with contacts here and I would hate to lose some by doing lasik....its a toss up for me still.
