My concern is anything electrical is subject to Electro Magnetic Pulse. I saw a TV show years back which demonstrated some new Military/Police weapons and one was and EMP machine. They showed how it disabled every electrical device in a home (which a bad guy was supposedly barricaded inside of).
If it were truly a good thing Police officers would want it to avoid being shot with their own gun in a gun grab situation.

It would be nice if they would pull over the motorcycles with no mufflers and ticket the hell out of them.
And no, loud pipes do not save lives.

My experience is foam eventually deteroriates and sticks to things you don't want it to. I use the silicone socks.

I agree. They are committed but inept. If I had like a billion dollars I would give them enough money so they can really screw with the Japs.

I read an article in a knife magazine a few years ago. The author said a knife is not automatically considered a weapon as it has other uses. However if you say your carrying it for "self defense" that would classify it as a weapon as your intending to use it as a weapon. The article went on to say a Gun would always be considered a weapon as that is all it can be used for.
I don't know how accurate the article was but it sounds like a reasonable explanation.

Well you could not keep a job at Hooters if you became out of shape so why should a Police force be any different ?
Maybe they should hire Hooters girls , I wouldn't mind being searched by one of them.

So in effect they are almost coercing people to buy a pistol every two years.
I really wish NJ would eliminate the pistol permit requirement althogether.

Well , maybe they can pass a law saying you cannot use a gun with a larger caliber then the police are issued in the municipality that you are committing a crime in.

Perhaps a mine field along the border might reduce the number of illegals.

I'm thinking you would have to cut a hole in your wall and mount it flush otherwise it might attract attention. Some theives are smarter then others.

I started on a Vespa scooter in 1967 and then a BSA 250 , Yamaha 650 , Harley Sportster , 2 Suzuki Intruders which took me to 2003 when I stopped riding. I still have a license in case the urge ever kicks in again.

They could do it pro bono or reduce the hourly rate to something a bit more reasonable. Or they could hire me to do it for $15.00 an hour and I'll bring my own gun and ammo.

Really? I could care less since I'm alive and the perp is either dead or in jail!
The "perp" will be just as dead if shot with a plain old 870 without a mag extention, pistol grip, forend grip, shoot-me light, side saddle, tactical sling, ghost ring sight and cop-stock.
I got that piece of advice from an Essex County Superior Court Judge. I assume he knows what he is talking about.

I think in some other countries they have similar restrictions. I kinda agree a little bit , If you can ride a vespa doesn't mean you can ride a 1000 cc motorcycle. Unless it's a Harley cause they are so slow.
