i was thinking to buy a property in Cape Coral in 2009-2010. the 3 things that stop me, were:
1)the number of sex offenders in the area. Here you can see if your area has any of them.
2) the tax rate 2% vs 1.25% most of the south Florida.
3) most of the sheriffs in south west Florida arent NFA friendly
If i had to choose an area in SW Florida, would be North Naples(Lee county).

listen to Ted and get a Coonan receiver. Most likely you bought an Argentine FAL kit.
Spent some time on the FAL Forums, plenty info there!!
Also order the Gunplumber's Guide to Gunsmithing. FN FAL & L1A1 DVD & Workbook.$65 (+$10 S/H) from here: http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/store/ars-misc/page-ars-misc.shtml
That would be the best $75 you will ever spent

Glad mine it wasnt sold few yrs ago. I had an ad here, for $600 and i only got an offer from another member here for $400. His reasoning was that Centerfiresystems had them on sale for $450 new and mine was used!!
You are better off with a VEPR 7.62x54r, the building/material quality of the VEPR is excellent

You should also consider Bushwhacker gun shop in Dorothy.
The owner(Wayne) his a great guy to deal with. He runs the shop part time in the evening.
He also does excellent gunsmith work.
Call before you go.
I don't think Paul ever intends to come back here Can't blame him...
PK90 was great to deal with, wish he was still in NJ and open that was just a short drive.
-
P&K Firearms owner(Paul) always being nice and professional to me. Highly recommended!!
Tony at TJ Sporting Arms is another great FFL to deal with. I wish he was closer to me so i can visit him more often.
Maybe we can ask Paul(PK90) to move back to South NJ?

I started with a 1988 Honda NX250, (or his big brother NX650)dual sport, u get 70 mpg and its fun to drive. They go around $1000-$1500
They never loose their value!!
Buy it , learn how to drive and 6 months you can sell it for the same price that you bought it.
Once you feel comfortable driving around with the bike, go and take this course a day: http://www.superbikeschool.com/schedule/

you can buy a used jobox and put all your firearms there while you driving, once you get in Florida, you can sell it

Talk to a professional and don't do any of the above before your advisor talks and explain to you NUA tax strategy!!
