I shot them in Texas at the Acusport show and they were very nice to handle and shoot. I would also look at the new Sig 1911-22, Walt has one at his store.

My son shoots USPSA at Shongum whenever he has a chance and uses an STI 40, he likes it better than his 1911 9mm. I guess is a matter of taste. By the way he is 16.

Hackettstown Guns and Ammo has them in stock for $99.00

This is from the memo we got from the NJSP dated 3/102011. If you need a copy email me and I'll forward it to you.
A. MULTIPLE HANDGUN EXEMPTION APPLICATION ON FILE AND APPROVED:
• N.I.C.S. WILL CONFIRM WITH THE DEALER THE SERIAL NUMBER OF
THE HANDGUN BEING PURCHASED. IF THE SPECIFIC HANDGUN BEING
PURCHASED IS IDENTIFIED BY SERIAL NUMBER ON STATE POLICE
ELECTRONIC RECORDS, AND THE INDIVIDUAL IS NOT SUBJECT TO
ANY OTHER DISABILITIES PROHIBITING THE ACQUISITION OF THE
HANDGUN, N.I.C.S. WILL APPROVE THE PURCHASE. IF THE SERIAL
NUMBER OF THE HANDGUN BEING PURCHASED IS NOT ON FILE ON
THE PURCHASER’S APPROVED APPLICATION, AND IS NOT NOTED ON
THE APPROVED HARD COPY IN THE POSSESSION OF THE PURCHASER,
N.I.C.S. WILL DENY THE PURCHASE. NOTE THAT SOME DEALERS
HAVE IMPLEMENTED A SIGNED FORM FOR THE PURCHASER TO
ACKNOWLEDGE SAME.

my ffl says they are open,....... however he has been wrong in the past.
If you are talking about Walt, he realized his mistake after that conversation.

Thank you.

Does anyone knows where I can buy some 15 rounds double stack magazines? Thanks in advance.

I'll take one.

Go to arms and ammo section of this forum. Look for my post for prices. He basically breaks down the prices for some AR services. The muzzle brake is on the list I just can't remember the price he gave.

INAL but If he wasn't arrested, the community service was in-house and the case didn't go to the prosecutor's office I'm positive he doesn't have to write down. The best advice would be for him to call his police dept and find out.

I have them both and wey both shoot fine. If you like an all metal gun then teh 92 is for you, if you want a "plastic" frame then teh 90TWO is for you.

When I have changed my mind for additional permits, I usually call the officer in charge of the permits and let him know, and then I leave the additional money/check with the dispatcher. So far I have never had an issue.

Just got this from the NJSP last week, read the "Employer" part:
NEW JERSEY STATE POLICE FIREARMS INVESTIGATION UNIT
10 MARCH 2011
FIREARMS PROCEDURAL UPDATE
3. DEALERS ARE TO ENSURE THAT THE PURCHASER’S OCCUPATION AND EMPLOYER IS LISTED ACCURATELY AND CLEARLY IN THE
APPROPRIATE BLOCK ON THE PERMIT TO PURCHASE A HANDGUN AND FORM OF REGISTER. IF THE ISSUING AUTHORITY FAILED TO
LIST SAME, HAVE THE PURCHASER COMPLETE IN YOUR PRESENCE.

Sent you a PM.

I was only trying to find an answer to one of his question " If not, what is my recourse?" I was not trying to bash him at all.
-
My only question and please do not trash me here, he did said "In 1992 while living in Ohio for 4 months" was he a NJ resident at that time, if he was, wasn't it a "crime" to receive a handgun while beenn in Oh?

The store I work at will not sell you any firearms with non-matching address.

There is a guy by the name of Jim Jones in Rockaway that does commercial reloading, he'll take the components and charge you for the labor. If there is a Shongum member reading this, they might be able to give you his number.

If you want to see the S&W "E" Series, Walt at Hackettstown Guns and Ammo has them in stock. They are the ones without the rails..
-
Would you happen to have a valid link for this PDF file? Thanks in advance.

If you want a real good smith, give George Carell a call, he build guns from scratch and they are excellent. I'm pretty sure at one time he used to work on David Lang's 1911 (NJ Premier's Bullseye shooter) his phone is (610) 588-0199 he lives about 20-25 minutes from Hackettstown.
A good age for kids to start shooting?

My two daughters 9&12 go to the range with me. They like to shoot their Ruger 10/22, S&W MP9 and Browning Buckmark. The only rule they have to follow is they are not to touch any guns until is their turn (Besides following the NRA safety rules).
They really enjoy themselves.
