    Killing someone for being an illegal alien and drunk driving is a little harsh. Be realistic.

     

    We have a free trade treaty, there should be a free jail-swap treaty. That way they can get deported but also have to serve time in Mexican jail. That way we don't have to pay for keeping this guy or any other illegals who commit crime in this country.

     

     

    Wasn't it obvious I was exaggerating just a tad?

    That isnt what you said.. You said "TO START" Top Salaries, Once you add in benefits, i;m not surprised, and their take home with overtime is more than likely Higher than that (Oh and BEFORE you start whining about overtime, 90% of that is generated by being short handed). Starting pay ranged between about $25 and 40K. As far as too Much? You get what you pay for. Go ahead and pay your cops like ****...and you'll get New Orleans.

     

     

    They do start at 100k, I don't see one cop making under that and I'm pretty sure the APP list doesn't factor in benefits as part of their salary (though if they do, then I'm sorry and retract my statement).

     

    Again...I live in a quiet town, we don't need a multimillion dollar police force for 1 square mile.

    You think teachers make a retarded amount of money? Look at police instead! I live in a sleepy town that basically has 0 crime and is only 1 square mile in size. Yet we have 40 police officers with a starting salary of about 100k?! Let alone the fact that they only require a HS degree to at least apply. At least the state police requires a BS but still that isn't a 100k job, I don't care how dangerous it is -- military is much worse and is half the pay. Total BS.

     

    Talk about wasteful spending.

     

     

    there is NO EFFING PD in this state that starts cops at $100K.

     

     

     

    There is not ONE cop in my town that makes less then 100k, explain that then? (we also have approx 40 cops for 1 square mile...PD system is just as ****ed as the education system)

     

    I did a little research in the nearby towns and all are about the same, hardly anyone under 100k. Total BS. Hate monmouth county wasteful spending.

    I am gonna go home and drive my GTO...... 9mpg and no emission controls :twisted:

     

    My Race car ran 11.70s(119.5mph) on the bottle, 12.70s off the bottle and still got about 15mpg just driving it around. Headers straight into Sonic turbos. Nothing like the sweet smell of Cam2 not run through cats.

     

     

    Mine runs high 10s with slicks and still gets ~20mpg average and over 30 on the highway :)

     

     

    Small engine + big turbo = ftw

    I found it ironic how the voting booths were in the gym with all the "champion" flyers and shit hung up around them. For non-school elections, voting is held in the unbias library :?

     

     

    When I was there, it was mostly parents wearing school apparel or with kids. I hope some of them have opened their eyes to the lies spewing from our schools admins.
