Jeesh. Sorry but not this again.

This was my first gun show and overall I was impressed or more like overwhelmed. Saw some stuff I could only droll over (damn you NJ) and some stuff I will be looking to get at the next show. Did buy some much needed glock mags along with another lc9 mag and a universal holster.

CONGRATS!!!!

Anyone been to this show? How are the deals?
-
I picked the 686 because that is going to be my purchase after the holidays. Thinking about the 686 plus
-
Thanks. Worked great.

I have a Stag Model 8 and absolutely love it. Since I am new to the AR world I figured to go with the piston version as my first.

I got to stop watching his videos or I will never have anything left in the bank. Any price yet?
-
It's still LEO/Security/Military only - that's not an issue for me. And I do hear that there are vendors that don't check for IDs - and I stay away from them due to Chicom counterfeits - which cost the same as the real deal.
At the time it I purchased there was a lot of back and forth with different vendors on if civilians could purchase. This was just when it came out. Mine is an offical Aimpoint PRO (it's registered with Aimpoint) and the site I got it from is legit but again from their website it looks like they changed their policy to:
"Aimpoint is restricting the sale of this optic to Law Enforcement Agencies, Military Units, National Guard, Security Companies, Federal Agencies, US Government "
For the price and quality you can't go wrong with the PRO. I would have rather a CompM4 or even a ACOG but I couldn't justify spending that much money.
-
Yes you can buy the PRO but just have to find a site that will sell it to you. Maybe something has changed in the past few months but the site I got it from seems to have changed their policy. Not sure if they are holding true to it but pm me for the name if you need it.

Hick0k45 is the man. Nutnfancy tries to make his into a television show without the commercials.

I love my Remington 870 Express Tactical.
Amen to that. I love mine also.
Can't go wrong with a Remy.

Picked up a few boxes of UMC 9mm and a few Remington Gun Club12 gauge at the Mt Laurel store. Looked like they had plenty more.

Thanks for the heads up. Going to get me some.

Based on what criteria? The only criticism I've heard about the P250's trigger is the long reset. Otherwise, it is a consistent 5.5# - 6#, non-stacking beauty. Far better than any other DAO gun I've ever fired (the Kahr is a close second). For revolver shooters it is something to be envied - for others, something to get used to - but "bad" - no way.
I can't agree with you more. I even had a Glock fan tell me how nice he liked the 250. My only gripe is that you can't find a sub-compact kit unless you buy the 2SUM. Sig screwed that up big time so she might just end up on the marketplace.

Never shot one but curious to see how you make out as this might be on my soon to be purchase list.

Omar has never been rude to me, nor have I ever seen him be rude to someone else. Are you sure we are talking about the same gentleman? Can you tell me what happened? You also have to take a look at how you are acting and presenting yourself as well. If you have a predisposed belief that someone is going to be rude to you, you likely aren't going to be as respectful, and they are likely to be short tempered in return. Just a thought, but I would like to hear how Omar was rude.
I was thinking the same thing. Although Omar loves his Colt AR's he never once pressured me into buying anything or was never rude. If it wasn't for the fact they didn't have at them have what I wanted I would have bought from him. Can't speak for the others.

That was initially one of the reasons I purchased a P250 in 9mm,however the conversion kits are not exactly abundant and quite expensive once you factor in the costs of additional mags {most kits only come with 1 mag} that range from $45.00 to $33.00 each, but I love the gun and most people that fire it compliments the rather long pull trigger and ergonomics.
I'll hang on to it and hope the conversion kits become more availible and less expensive, looking to buy a 9mm sub compact conversion in the future.
I'm in the same boat as you. I am going to hang on but I am really leaning towards selling if Sig doesn't get their sh@t together.

Sorry to hear he passed. My condolences to you and your family.

Thanks for the heads up and the coupon. Got mine for $9.995 shipped. Can't beat that. Glad I held out before getting a membership with my other order because they wound up giving it to me for $7.

They have some Aimpoint M4's without mounts if anyone is interested.
-
Absolutely incredible. Always been a fan of BF and this will be in the collection.
-
Did I miss something because I never saw him actually put the mag in the gun. I agree not the best video but he is spreading the word and now I am about to go and purchase some 15/30's

How do you feel about stickers for membership to ranges? I got one from the range I just joined but I don't know if I should put it on the car since I work in the corporate world.
My new carry gun :)))

Excellent choice. I got one myself at the end of November and absolutely love it. 300 rounds through it and not one failure. Are you looking into any of the Galloway Precision enhancements?
