    Get a loud dog. Best early warning system ever invented. Pleanty of time to stroll over to safe and grab firearm. Most badguys would probably go to the next house anyhow after hearing growling, snalrling, barking coming from behind my front door.

    Plus...You can hang a holstered pistol around his neck like a St. Bernard rescue dog :D

    I purchased an EFX-A1 stock from a board member. No buffer tube. I took the tube out of a standard A2 stock which had a small extension on it, maybe an inch long. The screw that came with the EFX is too large to fit the tube and the screw that does have the correct threads is too long without the extension. See picture, left is EFX. What the hell do I need to order? Thread size and length please. I don't want to cut the screw down if I don't have to. TIA.

    I can't get the nipples off my cylinder for the life of me. I've soaked it for days in penetrating oil and went through three nipple wrenches. I also tried heating with torch but no luck. I'm not too concerned as it still fires so i figure I'll just replace the whole cylinder at done point. I used that spray on canola oil last time and so far no rust. I have not shot since the time we went to SCFGPA many moons ago.
