What game are you looking to pursue? Keep in mind rifles are only legal for small game in NJ.

Ahhh okay yea that makes sense, I am familiar with 15-22 sights, didn't think about that screw getting in the way of the light. Carry on!
-
Awesome! But as you can see mine does not, this makes me sad
Mine are old VLTOR mod-stocks, (imod before they called them imod) good to know they upgraded that in the newest iterations.
My emod has the rubber pad though:
Still like the SOPMOD best
ETA: There's that TD grip again I upgraded my MP15-22 up with parts from the parts bin including the eoturd. I won all the TD stuff (stubby, pistol grip, rail covers) for being high shooter in an EAG carbine 2 course and I wasn't using it for anything else....
I will likely be getting a BCM Gunfighter grip for it soonest.
At the risk of nitpicking... is your front sight on backwards?

Only professional shooters, maybe, can shoot a tight group in defensive situations. Maybe. Your target is moving and you
mayshould be as well.Besides, even if all you have is a .22, all you need is one well-placed shot.
Fixed.

It's outdoors.

The MR556 doesn't require proprietary mags, it just doesn't work with PMAGs. Any mag that is built to STANAG specs should be fine. I wouldn't blame HK for the fact that Magpul built mags out of spec. There's plenty of other reasons not to buy the MR556, though.
He's referring to the MR762. That rifle will only accept HK's proprietary .308/7.62 mags.

Bought a Beretta Bobcat 22lr 20+ years ago at Rays Sports Shop for $187. It was one of the very first compact handguns for concealed carry. Very picky about what ammo it likes but it was an unusual gun at the time for it's size. Everybody makes a sub compact now.
This. These little Berettas are a blast.

If I was in the market for a piston AR, I would have a very, very tough time justifying the MR556. That should tell you something.

The collection of brews that I have enjoyed over the past few days with friends and family...
One of my favorite Belgian Tripels.
This stuff would stain a piece of mahogany that was painted black. But oh my lord was it tasty. If you are a fan of a healthy stout, get your hands on some.
Incredibly sour nose, not so sour finish. I'm not a big fan of sours, but it was drinkable.
The most interesting beer I have ever tasted. If you dig a good cigar, you need to try some of this. It literally tastes like you have just finished a very good cuban, without tasting like tobacco. Very tasty and the feeling after you take a sip is incredible. I say again, if you like a good cigar, you MUST get your hands on some of this.
Nothing crazy, just a very tasty brew. Went well with my Thanksgiving feast.
This was my selection to go with dessert. Very pronounced nutmeg and cinnamon, mated very well with a slice of apple pie.
Happy Holidays everyone!

Gotta love the engineers that designed this shit!
My 3rd Gen F-bodies weren't too bad, same goes for my 1991 Jimmy.
My buddies old Town Car was the easiest I ever did, it was under the hood!
I really hate most engineers...............
It's the designers that you hate. The engineers are forced to work within the designer's parameters.

Plus the 11% federal excise tax and $2250 yearly ITAR registration.

I'm not, I can buy 1k herters/tula for under 250.
Herters/tula has the same, if not worse, precision as surplus.
-
the ammo is more expensive (even for reloading it's close), the ballistics are comparable, a barrel costs half the cost of a x39 rifle.
I'm just having a hard time seeing the benefit....genuinely
Can't compare bulk surplus Russian ammo to hand-loads with whatever weight bullet you want. Plus if you're used to the AR platform, it's nice to keep the same manual of arms.

Let me just leave this here...[warning Litterbox content] http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/topic/63083-does-anyone-know-of-a-clean-cut-militia-in-nj/?hl=militia

I just saw some of the targets, and you are right.
I've only got a crappy old scope from my bb gun when I was a kid, and nothing for my Sig 522.
We'll probably pass this one, but it does look like and sound like a fun match if you are properly equipped.
Good job trying something a little different and more challenging Iggy.
I think I have a spare Bushnell Rimfire scope in my bucket o' gun stuff. You're welcome to borrow it if it gets you guys into the match. Shouldn't take more than a few magazines to get it zeroed.

While I appreciate the pictures of rows and rows of bottles, that's not what this thread was for. Try to keep it to what specific beverage you're enjoying right now, or sharing a recent specific one.

Petrocks can order pretty much anything
Hrm... I may have to take a ride up there and see if he can get me a few bottles of it.

Jon- last beer you stated that was amazing, only can find up in Illinois?
I have never heard of the brewery before. I just tried searching their website and it looks like there is no way to get hands on the Autumnal Fire in NJ.
-
For everyone's safety please do not shoot them with the SKS again. Other than that, I applaud your effort! Definitely look into some AR500 for your next set.

From my recent trip out to Illinois...
Good, not my favorite from Allagash though.
and
Amazing. Tasted like I was drinking caramel, and I love caramel. One of the few beers that have earned 5-stars in my Untappd profile.

I use this one: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/175512/frankford-arsenal-ds-750-electronic-powder-scale-750-grain-capacity
It's not the most accurate, but it does come with a check weight to see how far off you are. I've been loading with it for several years now and have no problems.
-
I have one for 3-4 years. It is still in great shape.
This. I have the electronic keypad lock and still on the original battery. Very happy with mine.

Bumping in case anyone has candy they still need to get rid of.

I have not pursued deer outside of NJ, but in-state, I love my H&R Ultra Slug Hunter.
