  1. This is my process:

    -Tumble dirty brass

    -Lube clean brass

    -Resize/deprime

    -Wipe off lube

    -Trim/chamfer brass

    -Prime/charge brass

    -Seat bullet/crimp brass

ETA: For precision ammo, you can add uniforming primer pockets in between wiping off the lube and trimming the brass.

  2. Such a shame, Bob. This had great potential. To any women, minorities, homosexuals, progressives, or any other group that I am personally blind to who come across this thread, do not let the few bad apples here spoil it for you. I feel that the core group of people who post here, specifically those who get together from time to time, are great people who would love for nothing more than to include you.

  3. Silverado, sounds like your front sight block was canted from the start but it wasn't obvious due to the loose barrel. Try and eye the fsb relative to the upper on your workbench, and you may need to adjust the fsb's position.

  4. Is it just the decapper pin that popped up? On Lee dies if the decapper encounters an obstruction(berdan primer, etc) it moves upwards to prevent the pin from breaking. If this is the case, all you need to do is loosen the upper part of the die, slide the pin back down, and retighten. Throw that piece of brass in the scrap pile.

  5. Guess I'll join in with my .300BLK...

  6. I actually just bought an 870 Wingmaster Receiver with plans to do a build.

While I'm planning on rebuilding it as close to "stock" as possible, I am interested in having this just because FIIC, what did it run you?

    Booooo. Shotguns need wood.

  7. Thanks Jon. So I should zero about 5 to 7 inches above center at 50?

If you can measure the height of your sights over the bore you can get a bit more precise.

ETA: at 1" over bore, the numbers work out to 6", at 1.5" over bore, it's 4.5".
