  1. Thas everyone for there help.... Can you elaborate on NJ2AS? Not sure what that is :-)
  2. Hi everyone.... Sorry for this topic, I know its been brought up before. Does anyone know of any upcoming Florida out of state CCW events or siminars happening? I bought some property in North Philly and need to get this done ASAP :-) Also does anyone have theirs already who can offer tips or suggestions being a nj resident using a florida ccw in philly? Thanks in advance for all of your help!
  3. Adjustable is like a cheek pad or recoil pad... Telescoping is an extendable .... And folding stock is just a big no (unless its a shotgun and you dont have anything else on it) ...
  4. This is the one I have, I am 99% sure its all legal, never 100% in new jersey.... very discretionary
  5. Thanks for the input... looks like its ok if its "adjustable" . Next issue is the foregrip... hearing rumors that is a no no...
  6. Hi everyone... I purchased a hi-point carbine today... great gun (I know everyone thinks its cheap) but I shot a friends and really wanted one. I got it home and realized the stock is adjustable... combo that with the pistol grip and its illegal... not sure what to do... I know a few NJ residents who have one and the nj dealer didnt say anything. Worried about taking it to the range... any thoughts?
  7. Again, thanks!!! Very cool, they have all the colors! Awesome!
  8. Thanks guys! Really appreciate it! Looks like the "Post-Ban" model is the winner. Now if I could only find 15 round P-Mags... more google'ing!
  9. Need a little help, going to purchase a Bushmaster AR, I was on their web site and I didnt see any NJ legal models listed. I want to do some research on it before ordering or going to the gun shop. I know the rules are: - No folding/collapsible stocks - No high capacity mags (15 rounds max.) - No flash suppressor - No bayonet lug - Barrel minimum of 16" - Can't say AR15 on the rifle None of the models listed on their site seem to meet this. Thanks!
  10. PA does not care, but NJ does. You have to make it across the border.... The way I read the law, if you are not headed to a range or sportsmans club, you are illegally possessing a firearm
  11. Thanks Malsua, great link to safeguardingfreedom! They make the process so easy, everyone should do this!!
  12. Thanks everyone for your help, it looks like its really sketchy driving from here to PA with a handgun. I need to google a 24 hour gun range in PA, that should give me a valid excuse, other than that it looks like your breaking the law, no real way around it I see.
  13. Hi Everyone, I tried searching before I asked but I didnt see anything. The out of state application requires you get fingerprinted by a law enforcement agency, does anyone have any suggestions on another option? When I got my NJ Firearms ID my local PD sent me to some outside agency. Secondly they really are not helpful nor friendly and treat you like a criminal. Not sure where to go. Also, I have searched and I am not 100 percent sure once I get the CCL from Florida, how do I get the weapon (I assume unloaded and locked and bullets locked separate) but what if I get pulled over... Uggh so many questions, thanks everyone in advance for their help.
  14. There is 600 yard range but dont recall the name of the club - Cumberland Riflemen, Inc. http://cumberlandmatches.com/mrfclass.html South Jersey Shooting Club - 300 trd. - http://sjerseyshootingclub.com/index.html Thanks Redfish!
  15. Hi Everyone, I am sure this has been covered before here but I tried searching without any good results. Is there any 200 -300 yard ranges below Trenton? Thanks so much in advance for everyones help?
  16. Thanks for the info, very much appreciated!
  17. Pretty much from what you guys are saying I need to find another girl haha I tried to include her in what I do, suggest she do something of her own, sacrificed doing things with my friends and some hobbies I have to make her happy, pretty much none of it satisfies her. There are plenty of fish in the sea I guess, but she is quite hot (she is on the left)
  18. Yep. Nothing to offer and too much TV. That's 9 out of 10 women. But the others are out there. Hold out for them. I would rather be alone than be shackled to "the batchelor" with no other outlet for fun. Im happy to hear I am not the only one who thinks this way. ha!
  19. I dont think its a trust thing, its more of a time thing. She thinks we should be sitting on the couch together watching The Bachelor and talking about our feelings. She doesnt like guns or just about anything I do for fun, which is ok because they are my hobbies not hers, I just wish she did something! And its not just her, but almost every girl!
  20. Lol... I dont think im ever getting married... I am gonna be the old weird guy with too many guns who yells at kids to get off his lawn
  21. You have too many hobbies and no time for her? I spend tons of time with her, but she wants me to spend every free second I have hanging out with her. The world is a huge fun interesting place, I can take a few hours a week to explore haha
  22. My girl was giving me crap for heading to the range after work, turned into a full knock down drag out argument. My point was that 99% of the girls I know do not have hobbies. I go fishing, ride my harley, amateur garden, build random things out of wood, play my xbox, and I am on a bowling and softball team and collect firearms. She (and most girls I know or have dated) don't really do much or latch on to something I am doing. Any thoughts on why?
