    Question,

     

    Do .357s or other brands of .38s cause the same problem?

     

    If its only this brand/batch don't shoot it.

     

    My 686 had never had a problem like this, even after shooting round nose lead .38s

    Carrying a firearm off-duty has alot of department rules and regulations involved.

     

    You can't just throw a gun in your pocket and go, or put a gun in someones purse.

     

    Can you imagine calling the Lt. on duty and telling him that your car was broken into and a handgun was stolen.

     

    That gun must be on your person in a secure holster at all times.

    "Those mounts?? They're gonna cost at LEAST as much as the Guns..If not more" :icon_rolleyes: nevermind the NFA violation if the switch for one of those solenoids sticks.

     

    ETA: I;m about 8 min into the one where they build the SAA...and all I can say is that no matter how Good he may be in real-life, the owner comes off as more of an arrogant Doosh than Will.

     

    The mounts cost more than his 70's lincoln kit car.

    If I can throw my 2 cents about Japanese invasion plans.

     

    I read that they knew they would never have the manpower to invade mainland USA.

     

    The best case scenario they planned for is if midway succeeded they would invade Hawaii.

     

    The plan was to round up the roughly 500,000 civilians in concentration camps and use them as bargaining chips in a cease fire agreement.

    I'm surprised Glock hasn't simply made the following:

     

    1. A single-stack slim-9mm

    2. A friggin pistol carbine

     

    I dont know if its true but I read that the 26/27 is the smallest size that can be imported into the US. Any smaller and its considered a sat. night special. I think that at one point glock put adj. target sights on them and then switched them to fixed in the Georgia HQ to help get them allowed in.

    How do you "trick" a SWAT team into surrounding a home? Call up and say "This is Seymore Butts, I'd like to order two pizzas and one SWAT team to my home at 123 Main Street please ..."?

     

    "911 what is your emergency"

     

    "HELP! (scream) HE GOT A GUN! (blood curdling scream) Click...

     

    Maybe 5 years ago some bored Rutgers students did it in New Brunswick.

    The important thing is that he wasn't injured. I assume he wasn't injured. Glass and metal can be repaired or replaced.

     

    The insurance company will cut him a check for what they think the car was worth. If your friend things their price is good, then take it. If your friend thinks the insurance company is low-balling him, he can negotiate the pay out.

     

    Your friend might get called to be a witness if the other driver contests the ticket. I got hit and dragged into that crap. I was out the court house for 2 hours while the prosecutor let the other driver plea the ticket down. No one ever talked to me. Point is, you can't worry about the other driver and what ticket they got. Just file the claim, hopefully with her insurance company, and see how much he can get.

     

    You're lucky you only had to go one time. The usual tactic is to adjourn the case over and over again ,for years sometimes, until the one day you don't show. Then they get the case dismissed.

    I wonder how long it'll take for someone to challenge this as an unreasonable restriction. As I see it, its a kin to Chicago banning ranges, but SF is using price instead of a ban on ranges.

     

    Unlike Chicago it looks like they have done their homework.

     

    The ccw holder has to meet the same requirements as an off-duty LEO except they have to pay for the man hours of the range officers/instructors.

    I have done a 180 degree turn and have been drinking the Glock KOOL AID. haha.........I know I am a hipocryte.

    I rented a 27 at shore shot last year. They should still have it.

    I dont think the m4 comes without the pistol grip.

     

    Its also neutered with a small mag tube to get it in the country.

     

    If you are looking for a Benelli the m2 tac. is a great gun.

     

    You just can't hang alot of weight on it(big lights, extra rounds, ect)
