If you have a good PD call the person who issued it to you and see what they say about it.
Just a couple of DUI's should not be a NCIS Disqualifier. But either way the PD messed up or NCIS messed up.
If NCIS messed up then you might need to contact them somehow to straighten it out. People do get denied by mistake.

When you have to put a tin foil hat warning you know you've gone too far.

Likely just annual training. NJ Army NG also has a presence all over NJ not just Ft. Dix; units do their bigger more expensive training exercises during the summer. Even could be a joint ARNG/NJSP exercise.

$18 fee by check made out to state police-SBI to run your background check + $2 per permit.
-
Yes It's the same form just check off pistol permits and write down how many you want.
Can't tell you what they would say but you should be fine. Apply anyway, If you get denied appeal.
The process is basically the same as when you applied for FID but you should be able to skip fingerprints.
-
You don't need to expunge your record to help you get an FID what you have is not in any way a disqualifier. There are many people who have much worse charges than you on their record and have still been approved.

I think the Captain is bluffing. Certainly go through with it. If he denies it appeal

As long as he made it look presentable with some strategically placed shrubbery ...
Bad guys are always going to be holding. I'd like to see good guys given every fighting chance. Having to follow the law shouldn't mean be handicapped by it. Class Threes are already legal in something like forty two states. The percentage of legal Class Three weapons that are actually used in a crime are measured into something like hundreth of one percent...
So, no Brother, I'm not worried about the good guy with his CCW getting drunk and having an arguement with his wife...I'm much more concerned about the three or four parasites that are waiting to take his car, and maybe his and his wife's life, when the couple stumbles out of the bar     ...
Needs a designated CCWer, don't drink and CCW.

Or could it be he speaks from experience and insider knowledge that your not privileged to? no..no...that couldnt be it..Not at all cause I have an "elitist agenda" right?
I understand following orders and if your chain of command involves politicians it must suck; but when your talking about an illegal order or an extra-legal requirement you have the right and a duty to disregard and not to enforce that requirement.
-
The politicians do not run the police departments in any way. That is a total cop out. (Get it)
justjules you have made so many posts blaming everyone but yourself.
To be the enforcer of illegal or immoral rules or laws is much worse than to be the drafter of those laws.
You don't get off by saying your just doing what your told.
-
How does this example have anything to do with politicians? This is a specific Police Dept requirement. It was certainly drawn up by the PD and not the city.

bro you forgot your flame suit

If my kid darts towards a cliff who cares about the car. If I happened to forget about the brake or to put it in park so what. As long as my kid is ok. In a situation like that forgetting about the car is understandable.
Yeah I'm saying I don't believe that story just because he claims it doesn't mean it happened.
-
I have a feeling that story is not totally true and he simply forgot to put the car in park or something.
Either way the dad is responsible for the car and the kid and needs to be in control of both.

Or on the other hand :
rush hour = more cars = more probable violations = more revenue
I don't even think that would be true honestly.
You might get a few cellphones or seat belts but I would think most people would see it coming. It would probably be more effective to hide and watch the traffic for those types of tickets.
The people you would get during rush-hour would be unlikely to commit the high paying or more serious violations that you might get later in the evening like DWI and visible illegal objects in the car.
-
Common sense would say a checkpoint during rush-hour would be extremely inefficient and ineffective.

You could check out Blackhawk and Altama too.
If its everyday I would go 6in but that's just me.

I want to try the Danner Melee but they aren't Berry compliant. I think they are still authorized for US Army but who the F wants a boot made in Vietnam or worse China.
I usually just wear the issue style hot weather tan boots and they are good, nothing special.
What environment do you want them for? rocky? asphalt? cold? wet? hot?
Also how high do you want them? 6in? 8in?

Thank you for your service Marine.

who invited the rangers guy?

I know that no one from NJ would dare like a hockey team other than the devils, but just in case, how many devils fans around here?
-
I looked around and couldn't find any other statutes that define what mandatory and maximum punishments are. (the regular traffic statutes don't define it)
I assume they would just follow previous court precedence and anything wild wouldn't be assessed because it would be thrown out in appeals.
Approved for License/Handgun permit but denied purchase?

It shouldn't matter who would find more or less.
Have you disclosed everything here and to the police dept.? Its just DUI's right? That should not disqualify you.
NICS does sometimes deny people by mistake. I remember seeing a stat on it somewhere and it was surprising.
