  1. Ok a grand or less I would look at STI, CZ, or a CZ clone if your thinking about maybe shooting, shooting sports like steel or USPSA. Just be forewarned, shoot 1 match and you will only be thinking about when you can get to your next match. Matches are like potato chips, you can't shoot just 1 or 1 type. ;)

  2. It's a shame they can't check his government-issued computer for image files.

I know a few things about computers but might GEO tags on photos or some other identifier on messages be able to be seen for people who know about those things? Would think server IP info would be accessible somehow.

Wonder if there were any posts during the rally and other things we were at while he was supposed to be doing his job.

  3. Okay subject ended, since I do not shoot there I have no stake in this game so can really care less to research it.

No problem, but that's one of the nice thing about the forum, you will get answers to your question as well as learn a thing or 3, sometimes even if you didn't ask for it. Lol

The good thing is, many times you can learn where and where not to go to avoid a bad experience.

  4. How and can first time shooters participate? Might like to get involved.

Go to the obcats website or go through the OBRPC.org website for it and register for the match. Show up earlier than the match start time, 0800-0830 would be best. Help out. Building the stages, take to the folks as you do, they will do a new shooters orientation and shoot the match. We probably can work out you shooting on our squad and we will have at least Nick, Frank and myself as Range Officers (aka RO's) that can help you out, talk about safety, ways to shoot the stage as well as other things to make it a fun and great learning experience.

  5. Jer, being you have a Dillon down the road in your future, that would want me to get one rather than something else. Thinking more along the lines of extra parts, being familiar with the machine and common tool heads and powder systems etc.

  6. Darn, forgot to pickup some.

Would spent casings be effective to diagnose feeding issues though without the bullet?

If you shoot and wear boots with treads on them, check the bottom of them, I always have some cases stuck in mine. ;)
