  1. I see, thanks for clearing that up. If anyone has anything else to add I'd also appreciate it
  2. I get that they make a quality piston upper. I'm curious as to how their factory rifles run.
  3. I know their uppers are popular and that there is a lot of information on them. Does anybody have experience with their factory rifles? I am having a hard time finding any reviews or opinions on them. Picture is from the Adams Arms online catalog. Thanks for the help!
  4. I took the class at http://www.insightfirearmstraining.com/ in Prescott, AZ. It was $100 for the 8 hour class. So combined with the $60 to AZ DPS, it ran me $160 total.
  5. http://www.azdps.gov/Services/Concealed_Weapons/Reciprocity/ Not many, PA VT NH I think that's about it
  6. First thing I need to do is find a shop that has one in stock, would like to hold it and see how it fits and all
  7. The neat thing about the scout is that you can mount congenial optics on it well as ier ones

  9. Caine, That's because it's not a Raven. It looks like one, feels like one, works like one, but no, a guy on glock talk is selling custom kydex holsters. Costs less then a raven and also didn't have to wait a crazy amount of time for it to get to me
  10. Yeah its pretty awesome man. Permit isn't required in AZ to carry concealed but its recommended so I went ahead and got one. Plus, its good in about 34 states!
  11. One eight hour class, $60 money order to DPS, and 4 days later I can carry concealed. Freedom feels good guys
  12. Axeman, I too find myself drawn to the rifle for some weird reason. Seems perfect for when the machines take over/zombies invade/whatever end of the world scenario one can come up with. I've read that its "addictive and fun to shoot". The M1A retails for double the price, and the mini 14 is only .223 I thought?
  13. This rifle's been picking up some steam since shot show, what are your guy's opinions on them? It seems like a pretty fun rifle to shoot but its almost double the price of what else is out there Is it NJ legal?
  14. Just to give the thread some closure. I spoke with an Officer in the NJSP Firearm division, everything is kosher! Like everyone said before, the guns were purchased legally in AZ and I am resident of NJ when I'm home for the summers + when I graduate. This means I have two years to stock up on firearms in -hassle free- AZ before I graduate and move back to NJ edit- NJ Legal Firearms
  15. I'm pretty much positive bringing the guns back to NJ during the summer will not be an issue. The guns were bought legally through FFL's, at the end of the day that's all that matters I feel like I'm definitely a NJ resident. The only concern is if my AZ ID card, living there 7+ months out of the year, and being registered to vote also makes me a AZ resident or just an out of state student
  16. Well I highly doubt I am going to register the firearms. I guess I can bring them back for the summer though. Since I have residency in both AZ and NJ. Once I graduate and move back to NJ I will only be a NJ resident. Nonetheless, that does not take away from the fact the I was an AZ resident and purchased the guns legally there.
  17. Today I called my town's PD and spoke to the person who handles firearms, fingerprints, and background checks. She told me that I would not even have to register my firearms but recommends I do. I am not very familiar with NJ firearm law, but thought I would need some sort of "firearm identification card" even if I legally purchased my firearms out of state -as an AZ resident- and moved back to NJ and became a full time NJ resident.
  18. A full explanation is found on literally the first link when you type "AZ ID Card" into Google... "The Arizona Motor Vehicle Division issues non-driver identification cards to State residents who don't have a valid ID card, driver license or instruction permit from the State or any other jurisdiction. The ID card can be used to prove your identity, age, and residence in a variety of situations. An Arizona identification card does not expire unless it is issued to temporarily replace a suspended license, in which case it is valid for 180 days."
  19. Well although CCW is not required to carry concealed in AZ, it is still available. I have my class on Saturday, the CCW card will allow me to carry in establishments that serve alcohol and also looks better in court if -hopefully not- I ever need to use my firearm for self defense.
  20. Sorry! Not trying to troll! Okay called the Law Office that was posted and left a message. Thanks for all the insight people!!
  21. That's my situation. By the way, I bought my firearms from two different FFL's both said it was completely legal. Since I purchased the firearms LEGALLY in Arizona. Can I bring them back to NJ with me for the summer? -while still a student- Also, when I graduate and move back to NJ I will be a full time NJ resident again. Am I allowed to bring my guns back to NJ with me since they are within in the guidelines and were purchased legally? Or do I need some sort of NJ firearm permit or ID card Malsua, I have the AZ ID card and even registered to vote. That's gotta count for something
  22. I pay the same tuition as in-state students -private university- Like I said before I am in-state for 7+ months taking a full course load -more than 7 hours- Combined with my AZ ID what do ya think?
