  1. I know where you are rite now. It flat sucks and there is nothing you can do about it. Just try to stay as positive as you can in spite of the doctors guesses. I know there is nothing I can say to make it easier. Just keep your chin up and be strong. Be there for your dad. Even if he doesent know it at times..there will be times he does know it.

  2. I bet your conductors feel pretty warm. Hope they fix that crap.

Have you considered a buck/booster? I have no experience with them, except that they are obviously transformers/inverters, which I have experience with. Shifts the amperage burden to the big wires on the outside of the house I guess. Wait a minute... I guess the amperage probably would not change on the outside wires, but I haven't even pulled out a coctail napkin so..

I could wire up a set of buck/boost transformers but thats gonna up my electric bill even more. Low voltage ups your bill because lower the voltage and you will increase the amperage. This will increase the bill because the meter measures amperage. Thats why the BPU says no lower than 114 volts. So, the short answer is... Yes I could do that but I wont. I pay my bill every month and only expect what Im paying for. I guess Im just unreasonable. I wish I was out in the country... id take a shot at the transformer on the pole! Thats where my problem lies. There is a 100amp transformer on that pole that feeds 11 houses. All with central air and most with pools. It probly has about a 200amp load on it when everyones air and filter are running.

  3. That can destroy stuff. Ever heard of "Brown Outs"?

They are not allowed to let voltage fall below 114 volts. Everyone on my street is having this problem and have been having it for years. Worst enegys policy is to wait until its on fire or fell down on the road before they will fix it 3 times then replace it. The BPU is worthless in my fight with them. Every time I get pissed and start another round it always ends with me calling/emailing the BPU. Then an engineer comes around and agrees with me that its messed up and I hear no more about it. I already have a claim (ongoing battle) with worst energy for my replacement condensing unit. They suck and I hope they burn in hell

  4. No outage here yet... My voltage is down to 198 volts between both legs and 99 leg to neutral. AC is having a hard time starting... I absolutely hate worst energy.. oops first energy

  5. Yes. click the arrow, and more options come up.

In the next few months, there will be an android app to put on the phone where you can access the forum directly. the layout will be the same, just no need to open up the browser.

F-in awesome! Can waste time like a pro that way!! It pays to be the boss at times:)

  6. I am drug tested for the money I earn so I dont see how its unfair to drug test to get it. I am fully in support of this. Its not that hard to live life without drugs people. Two of my friends are DYFS case workers and the hard core addicts use none of their assistance money on their family or kids. Drug abuse runs rampant in my family and any money they can get for free goes 100% into their habit. Addicts dont like to work for their money.

  7. I got there with my cousin around 0900, and hit the pistol range for an hour(table E). After that we moved to Table 4 at the rifle range, where we blew up a ton of baby water bottles and potatoes. Also set up my 10" AR500 steel @ 200yds, and got tons of hits with two SKS's(irons), and my Marlin 925 in .22mag(3-9x scope). I also managed to score a few hits with my Browning HiPower(easier than I anticipated). All in all a great day at the range!

So your the one who leaves slaughtered potatoes all over the range! LOL!

  8. You can hand feed them.

Thats about how it with the first 200 rounds of the 500 I acquired. Im just gonna stick with the XM193 and M855 ammo I have been using since I never had any problems with that in the 4000 rounds already through this gun. Thanks for the suggestion

  9. I have 15 boxes of 20 rounds of wolf military classic 62 grain hollow points. I simply cannot use it in my AR because it flat refuses to feed. This gun will fire anything else but these wonders. If you have an AR chambered in 5.56 or .223 and wanna give it a shot just send me a PM or reply here. You come and get it and its yours.

  10. Anybody can shoot any handgun......

What you need is the confidence and control for the firearm you are using. The best thing to do would be to go to a range that you can rent from and try different calibers and different firearms. If nothing feels rite, take a course. ammo price is a useless number to use when buying a gun you have never shot. You could spend a lot of money for a gun you flat out dont like after a couple boxes of ammo and that makes any ammo savings go out the window.

As for my preference,.. I own both in springfield XD and I prefer the 40. It is a snappy gun and could take some geting used to for a new shooter. For me, it was a natural fit. Go try some and make your decision based on personal feel.

    Enjoy

  11. I read in the LA times that the shooter managed to puncture a fuel tank.

I'm sure this individual was not quite the upstanding legal firearms owning type. Unfortunatly some media will use this in their guns are bad bashing that gets all the sheeple upset at law abiding citizens like us. Its a shame people have become so easily fooled and just love to jump on the "guns are bad" wagon. Sad indeed..

  12. The german dag ammo is not steel core. It is nato ammo so it cannot really be steel core without the black tip marker. I have shot thousands of rounds of this ammo without any problems. It is cupronickle and that is why it attracts a magnet and also why its silver. Its just a copper alloy with a lead core. I disected one myself. Shoot and enjoy!

Added on edit.... Its also fairly acurate

  13. if you think the no cell phone rule is nuts just go work for any coastgaurd regulated refinery or tank farm. When I hear about accidents at these facilities it amazes me that it could happen. We had to have a full time babysitter plus a bunch of movies about safety as well as 50hr OSHA cards with confined space entry sertification. And that was to work outside! The work was good though and I wish I had it all back now. (NJ statistic here too....) If you can get in with ANY oil company take it. Its one failproof industry.

  14. wojo if they try and stick it to you even with turning in the plates and waiting the 7 days. You could always "sell" the motorcycle to your wife, and then "buy" the motorcycle back from your wife, you would have to pay for a new title, but at least your not getting hoses for several hundreds of dollars in registration fees. Just another idea to beat the stupid system.

You would get hosed for several hundred dollars in taxes instead.. This state blows hard
